Carson's Crusaders Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing support and assistance to children and families who are affected by pediatric cancers.

Carson’s Crusaders Foundation was established in memory of Carson Richardson, who lost his battle with Hepatoblastoma cancer in 2010 at the age of 7. The Foundation was founded by Carson Richardson’s parents, Ryan and Kimberly, and grandfather, George Richardson. Through Carson’s three and half year battle with Hepatoblastoma, the Richardsons were blessed with financial, emotional, and spiritual support from friends and family. Their community embraced and supported them through the difficult journey. They soon realized that not all families were as fortunate. Their desire to help others led to the formation of Carson’s Crusaders Foundation. Carson’s Crusaders Foundation was formed to provide assistance to families of children battling pediatric cancers. Our services include travel assistance, sibling support, educational programs, and financial support to those families affected. Carson’s Crusaders received its 501(c)(3) nonprofit recognition in October 2011. The Board and its volunteers are currently involved in fund raising projects to support planned outreach activities.

$39,600 raised in UNDER 10 MINUTES! ✨

During our Brighten the Night Gala, our guests came together for one of the most powerful moments of the evening: Be the Spark, our Raise the Paddle fundraiser!

What is Raise the Paddle? It’s a special moment during a fundraising event when guests raise their bid paddles to make direct donations toward a cause, without receiving an auction item in return. It’s simply giving from the heart! ❤️

And in less than 10 minutes, our incredible community raised $39,600 to help families navigating childhood cancer!

These generous donations will help support:

• Great Wolf Lodge stays, giving families an opportunity to make memories together.

• Gas cards to ease the financial burden of traveling to treatments and appointments.

• Our Sibling Superstars program, ensuring brothers and sisters feel seen, loved, and supported.

• Hospital parking passes to help alleviate another expense during treatment.

Every paddle raised represented more than a donation. It represented hope, relief, joy, and a reminder to families facing childhood cancer that they are not alone.
