Patriots Run 2025 -- A Day to Remember

On November 8, 2025, our community came together in a powerful way for the Patriots Run — a 5K and Fun Run held as part of the Plano Flags of Honor, presented by the Plano Rotary Community Corps.

The event was proudly hosted by VFW Post 2195 and VFW Post 4380, with one shared purpose: honoring our veterans, supporting veteran relief efforts, and reminding everyone what a united community can accomplish.

From the opening moments to the final finishers, the energy was unmistakable. Runners, walkers, families, veterans, volunteers, sponsors, and Marine Corps ROTC cadets from Allen High School showed up not just to log miles, but to stand for service, sacrifice, and gratitude.

What made the Patriots Run special wasn’t just the course or the clock — it was the people. Smiles at the start line. Determination on the route. Flags waving. Veterans being recognized. Kids running with pride. Moments that mattered.

The photos that follow capture those moments far better than words ever could.

Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, volunteered, sponsored, and supported the Patriots Run. You helped turn this event into something truly meaningful — and this is only the beginning.
