🔥 Big Green Egg Cooking Class with Chef Michael McCoy

Join us at Sunnyland Outdoor Living in Frisco for a hands-on Big Green Egg cooking class with Chef Mike McCoy, founder of Chef to the Shelters.

This interactive class will help you become more confident cooking outdoors - whether you’re new to the Egg or looking to sharpen your skills. Chef Mike is known across North Texas for his live-fire cooking and for teaching practical techniques you can easily repeat at home.

During the class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of ceramic grilling, including:
• Temperature control
• Fire management
• How to smoke, roast, and sear with confidence

Along the way, Mike will share tips and techniques he uses on the Egg so you leave with skills you can immediately use in your own backyard.

Chef Mike is also the founder of Chef to the Shelters, a North Texas nonprofit that prepares and delivers more than 1,200 meals each month to sober living homes and recovery shelters across the region.

100% of ticket sales from this class go directly to support this mission.

Just another great day thanks to the good folks over at J&R Commercial Wood Smokers, Grills & Rotisseries!
We smoked 140 pounds of EQ cured Bacon and 30 Racks of Ribs.
“And it was a good day”

Without the best clients, and the most dedicated co-workers/crew, 2024 would not be winding down so gracefully.

I am so thankful, so appreciative, and so looking forward to helping businesses share their stories in 2025!

Although we work with many different clients in different sectors, our Shaping:DFW series is one where I see my reflection in the mirror; as an entrepreneur producing mini-docs on other entrepreneurs, I so admire their tenacity while also empathizing with the never-ending hustle. It takes energy and drive, determination and patience.

Just now, on my feed, I saw one of our past Shaping honorees, (Shaping: DFW Honoree Class of 2019) working her kiosk at Northpark mall! She’s not sitting in an ivory tower, but right there on the frontlines making sure her business continues to thrive. PSA: Her chocolates are insanely delicious and beautiful! Perfect for gifting!
