Only one week left in the Sacramento Area Chapter's virtual blood drive with Vitalant blood center. You don't have to live in Sacramento to donate. They have over 100 sites. The SAC has set 50 donations as their goal. As of today they are still 10 donors short. Please consider helping them.

Region 16 Communication Project
Andrew Villegas, secretary of the Central Valley Chapter, is leading an initiative to create a region-wide communication collaborative. Each chapter will be invited to share updates on its activities, celebrate member achievements, and stay connected with chapters across the region.
Introducing “The Pacific Handoff”
“The Pacific Handoff” will be a quarterly virtual publication, beginning with a pilot edition in December 2026. Each chapter will identify a liaison to gather and submit news and updates. See the flyer below for more information.
Members who would like to take on a larger leadership role may also volunteer for the project workgroup. See the flyer below for details.
Action Steps for October
• Select a chapter liaison. At your October board meeting, choose someone to gather and submit chapter updates. Send the liaison’s name and email address to Andrew at [email protected].
• Join the workgroup. Build your leadership skills and help make the project a success. If you are interested, email Andrew at [email protected].
