I am finally recovering from NTI in San Diego. I’m from Indianapolis so immediately went into race weekend for the Indy 500 when I got home. I was so happy to spend time with these Region 8 chapter members at CLDW. In addition t great presentations, we all enjoyed the breakout sessions to network with other chapters on best practices and new ideas for recruiting new members, succession planning, events, and MANY other. We also celebrated the Central Ohio chapter for winning a Circle of Excellence award! Your willingness to spend your Sunday dedicated to your professional development as well as to the success of your local AACN chapter is appreciated! Also sharing info for an upcoming symposium that the Upper Cumberland Chapter is hosting.

I would love to hear how your chapters are celebrating Certified Nurse's Week. I waited many years to get my CCRN. I was very intimidated by the thought of taking a big test like that. I did a prep class with Nicole Kupchik Consulting & Education and learned so much that it felt like I went to nursing school all over again! That prep class was definitely key to me successfully passing the CCRN exam back in 2018. What was your key to success?
