October 24 is both United Nations Day and World Polio Day—a reminder of how powerful we are when we act together.

Thanks to a global effort, we’ve reduced polio by 99.9% since 1988. The finish line is in sight, but we need continued support, awareness, and action to end it for good.

On this day, honor the power of global cooperation:
✅ Learn more about the fight against polio
✅ Share the story—many still don’t know polio exists
✅ Support global health and vaccination efforts

Together, we can make history—and a healthier future.

Today is World Food Day — a reminder that access to good food is a basic, universal human right.

Hunger isn’t just a distant problem. It’s in our towns, in our neighborhoods, and sometimes even next door. Rotary clubs stand ready to help—through food drives, gardening projects, school meal programs, and partnerships that restore dignity and hope.

Let’s commit to action, not just awareness. Every meal shared, every garden planted, every seed grown—that’s service above self.

It’s Global Handwashing Day—a reminder that something as simple as washing our hands can save lives.

Rotary supports clean water and hygiene initiatives worldwide because we believe that every person deserves the chance to live with health and dignity.

Let’s keep hands clean and futures bright.
