Thank you for Advocacy and Leadership Cassandra! We are truly grateful to you! ❤️🇺🇸

**THANK YOU, CASSANDRA GUZMAN—MS. VETERAN AMERICA 2024/2025**

A crown may mark a moment, but a year of service creates a legacy.

Throughout her reign, Cassandra Guzman represented Ms. Veteran America with grace, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to her sisters-in-arms. She showed up—not simply as a titleholder, but as an advocate, mentor, supporter, and sister.

Cassandra used her voice to help others feel seen. She offered encouragement when it was needed most, celebrated the victories of her fellow women veterans, and stood beside them through difficult moments. Her presence reminded us that leadership is not measured by the attention we receive, but by the lives we touch.

Cassandra, thank you for every appearance, every conversation, every act of kindness, and every moment you dedicated to this mission. Thank you for carrying the crown with dignity and representing the woman beyond the uniform so beautifully.

As your reign comes to a close, the sisterhood you strengthened and the impact you made will continue. You will always be part of the Ms. Veteran America legacy, and we will always be grateful for your year of service, support, and love.

**The crown may be passed, but your place in this sisterhood is forever.** 🇺🇸👑

**A CALL FOR CONTINUED PRAYER AND SOLIDARITY**

As we shared previously, three of our distinguished Ms. Veteran America judges and members of their families were involved in a serious car accident. Some remain hospitalized as they continue their recovery:

- Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Michele Jones
- Chief Petty Officer Shelsea Evans
- Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Dr. Karen Walker

We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support you have already extended to these incredible women and their families. We ask that you please continue to lift them in prayer as they face the difficult days ahead.

They came to Ms. Veteran America to stand in support of their sisters-in-arms—to give their time, share their wisdom, and help us honor the service and sacrifice of women veterans. Now, it is our turn to stand for them.

As we leave what was an extraordinary celebration of Ms. Veteran America’s 15th anniversary, our hearts and attention remain focused on their healing and on supporting their families through this devastating event.

This is what solidarity looks like. This is what sisterhood requires. When one of our sisters is hurting, we close ranks around her.

Please continue to surround Michele, Shelsea, Karen, and their loved ones with your prayers, strength, and support. We respectfully ask that everyone honor the privacy of the individuals and their families as they recover.

**They stood for us. Now we stand for them.**

Last week, as part of our Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, a team of volunteers from our local Lowe’s store joined Final Salute for Red Vest Day at our Alexandria transition house. ❤️🔨

They rolled up their sleeves alongside our community volunteers to help improve the outdoor spaces at our transitional home for women veterans and their children. Their time, hard work, and care helped bring us closer to creating an even more welcoming and beautiful place for the families we serve.

Thank you to Lowe's Home Improvement, our Store Captain Keith Wood, our Board Chair Brian Drummond, former Ms. Veteran America Queen Victoria Taylor, and all the volunteers who showed up ready to make a difference. We are grateful for your support and for putting our mission into action!

We can’t believe it’s already been 30 days since Next Uniform 2026! 💜

Looking back at these photos brings us right back to a beautiful day of connection, encouragement, and celebration at our partner location, Women Giving Back in Sterling. It was a joy to welcome women veterans, help them find pieces for their next chapter, and watch new connections form throughout the day.

Thank you to every woman who joined us and to the volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who made the day possible. We’re still smiling—and already looking forward to next year! ✨

Attendance isn’t the only way to stand with our heroes.

By purchasing a table, your business or group can gift complimentary seats to disabled and wounded veterans, ensuring they are celebrated, seen, and supported.

Your logo will be displayed on your sponsored table as a visible symbol of your commitment.

And every table purchased helps provide safe, secure housing for homeless women veterans and their children, giving them the stability they deserve.

Even from afar, you can change a life.

🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER.

Today, Final Salute joins our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honoring the heroes who answered the call, and recognizing the service members and veterans whose lives and service were forever shaped by that day.

Twenty-five years later, we remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the strength that united us.

To our military community, first responders, survivors, families, and all who carry the memories of 9/11—we honor you.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
