Gettysburg, 2026.
For three days we marched the same roads, slept beneath the same stars, drilled, cooked, sang, and stood on the very ground where American Soldiers, to include those of the Irish Brigade, fought and sacrificed to preserve the nation and secure the freedom of their fellow man.
Throngs of visitors stopped to ask questions, experience camp life, and connect with the stories of the men we portray.
In a world increasingly shaped by screens and artificial intelligence, there is something refreshing about real wool, real campfires, real friendships, real conversations, and the sights, sounds, and smells of history brought back to life.
These photographs capture only a small part of the experience, but they remind us why we do this.
History remembered.
History experienced.
Their story.
Our responsibility.
On to the Fairfax 4th of July parade!
