Our friend, the 505 Community Band, is looking for a co-conductor. Applications for co-conductor position(s) will be accepted through Friday, June 13th. For details about the 505 Band, visit www.505communityband.org
Interested applicants may apply via email, including a “cover letter” that states their reasons for seeking consideration as a co- conductor and the approaches they will take to promote the Band’s continued success. A resume that provides details of relevant conductor training and experience is also required.
This is not a salaried position. Co-conductors are paid an honorarium for their efforts during each of two sessions, Spring and Fall, that involve weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals. Sessions conclude with a public concert.
The candidate selection process will include interviews with 505 Band Board members and the opportunity to conduct a musical selection during a June 13th rehearsal.

505 Community Band is an all-volunteer concert band bringing musical variety to the Albuquerque area. We perform two concerts each year: Spring and Fall. Our concerts are fun and free with music for the family. We are a 501(c)(3) organization.
