Horses for Healing, Inc At Horses For Healing, Inc., it is our belief that our veterans deserve the very best we have to give when they return home from deployment.

Non-profit organization providing psychotherapy utilizing horses for veterans, adults, children, and families through a trauma-informed and person-centered approach. We provide programming to help veterans with PTSD, and support veterans and their families as they work to achieve and maintain mental and physical well-being. Our horses are our therapy partners, an integral part of our plan to help

our heroes. We offer the opportunity to ride, rope, and learn horsemanship from cowboys, ropers, and horsemen. Offering equine psychotherapy, equine therapy groups, fit camp, and cowboy camps throughout the year, Horse for Healing is a unique way to help all individuals of the community.

Join us for a morning of movement, connection, and community at Horses For Healing 🧘‍♀️🐴

Our Yoga with Ponies fundraiser is back on June 6th and July 11th, and we can’t wait to share this special experience with you. Imagine practicing yoga outdoors, surrounded by gentle ponies, fresh air, and a welcoming community that believes in healing through connection.

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this event is designed to be fun, grounding, and accessible for all ages and skill levels. Come alone or bring a friend and enjoy a peaceful morning supporting mental health services in our community.

Pre-registration is optional but encouraged. All proceeds support Horses For Healing and the work we do serving individuals, families, youth, and veterans in our community.

Now enrolling: Social Emotional Learning Youth Groups!

Join us for a 6-week equine-assisted group experience designed for youth ages 7–14. Through connection with horses, children build emotional awareness, confidence, self-regulation, and healthy social skills in a supportive and trauma-informed environment.

These groups are designed to help youth strengthen coping skills, improve peer relationships, and grow through connection, presence, and experiential learning.

🐴Join us for a car meet and movie night in support of Horses For Healing, a non-profit equine therapy organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Movie of choice will be, of course, Cars. Donations are encouraged and will go towards the Horses for Mental Health campaign running until the end of May! 🐎
