As members of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the Capital District Alphas we would like to say a hearty congratulations to the eleven outstanding young men from the Capital Region who have earned our 2026 college scholarships from the George Biddle Kelley Education Foundation.

Because of the support of our supporters, sponsors and friends like you, we were able to award $16,500 in scholarships this year.
These young men and their families should be proud of their achievements and we look forward to hearing from them soon about their collective academic success.

Enjoy our post and please offer these young men your platitudes and support.

With gratitude,
The Capital District Alphas

🎭👏🏾 BROTHER SPOTLIGHT 🖤💛
The Capital District Alphas are proud to celebrate one of our own! Congratulations to Brother Kevin Johnson, Spring ’26 Initiate of Beta Pi Lambda Chapter, on his promotion at the historic Palace Theatre in Albany!
Kevin’s leadership and dedication continue to shine — on stage and off. This is exactly the kind of excellence we love to see from our newest brothers as they step into their purpose and make an impact in the Capital Region.
From the yard to the boardroom — we see you, Brother Johnson. Servant leadership in action! 🤙🏾
