Meet Tiana, a beautiful 6-year-old girl who is looking for a new forever home through no fault of her own.

Tiana is currently staying in a temporary setup while we work on finding the right home for her. She is spayed, fully vetted, recently flea treated, and comes with her medical paperwork.

Tiana is clearly used to being part of a family and all she wants is to be loved. She absolutely LOVES attention and would happily spend her days curled up on your lap being pet. ❤️

She has also previously lived with two large dogs, and she absolutely loves other people and being around her family.

Tiana is a wonderful example of a family cat who simply needs someone to open their home and give her the stability and love she deserves.

Meet Olive and Daisy!

Olive is our adorable tabby girl, and Daisy is her beautiful black sister. These two are sweet, playful, and full of personality.

Olive can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll happily shower you with little kisses to show you how much she loves you. She’s playful, silly, and always ready for some fun.

Daisy is the sweetheart of the pair. She’ll melt right into your hands and starts purring the moment she sees you. She’s affectionate, loving, and has also proven to be completely shelf stable.

Both girls are great with kids and absolutely love playing together. They’d love to find a home where they can stay together and be best friends for life! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACNY/Cat

Casper came to us in the middle of winter really sick with a URI that just would not go away. It took months to finally get him healthy enough for surgery, and once they got in there they found multiple hernias from what looked like a deep bite from another animal. He had probably been living with a lot of pain for a long time.

They repaired everything, then it was several more weeks of healing before he was finally ready to move into our senior adoption room.

And that is where this whole other Casper started showing up.

The tough old street cat started letting his guard down and now he is just a giant mush who looks for love and pets every chance he gets.

It took a long time to get here.

This is why we fight so hard for the really sick ones, the scared ones, the hissy and swatty ones that don't make the best first impression. There can be so much underneath all of that fear and pain, they just need someone to give them the time and the chance to show it.

Casper got that chance. ❤️

UPDATE: The woman who sent the donations messaged and Chewy is sending a replacement. Thank you, Liz H, for your amazing support ❤️

We got several Chewy packages today and unfortunately one of them was damaged during delivery.

I heard a couple really loud thuds on the porch, checked the camera, and saw one of the boxes get thrown onto the porch. A can of formula inside busted open and covered everything else in the box.

Chewy doesn’t include information telling us who sent wishlist packages, and since the order wasn’t placed through our account, they’re having a hard time figuring out who it came from. So if you recently sent us a can of formula along with some other items, please message the page.

I know in the grand scheme of things it’s one can of formula and probably seems pretty minor, but it honestly just made me really sad.

We are on our last can right now with nearly a dozen bottle babies spread between different fosters, and we never know when another tiny baby is going to show up needing it. But even beyond that, these donations mean more to us than just what they cost. Someone saw what we were doing, chose to spend their own money, and sent something to help take care of these babies. It’s support from our community showing up at our door, and seeing it ruined is just really discouraging.

I do want to say that I know these Chewy boxes can be ridiculously heavy. They’re often packed with litter, food, canned food, etc. We don’t control how Chewy packs them, and a lot of the time we aren’t even the ones placing the order. We actually feel terrible when huge heavy boxes show up because we know someone has to carry them, and whenever we’re here and see the driver, we will always help unload.

This delivery came much earlier in the day than our typical deliveries do so no one was readily available to go help if it was needed.

Our delivery people have always been great to us, and we really do appreciate them. I know their jobs aren’t easy, and this isn’t meant to be a complaint about delivery drivers in general.

It’s just one of those little things that feels bigger when there’s already so much going on. We have nearly 300 cats in our care right now, bottle babies, tube feedings, syringe feedings, medications, fosters needing supplies, and a million other things happening every day. Having to stop and spend time trying to track down an anonymous order because something someone donated was destroyed is just frustrating and sad.

If this was your package, please reach out. I really don’t want whoever sent it thinking we never got it or didn’t appreciate it. That goes for everyone who donates, we never get the names from Chewy on orders of donations and most of the time Amazon doesn't include the info either, they used to send little white slips with a name on them but we haven't seen those in months. We appreciate every single one of our supporters who sends us anything to help us care for these babies. We absolutely do. ❤️.

Meet Chunk, Andy, Rosalita, Data & Michelle! 🐾

Chunk – Lovable, goofy, and always ready to have a good time. He’s the type of cat who will fit right in just about anywhere.

Andy – A little shy when you first meet her, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll turn into a total lap cat and little lovebug.

Rosalita – She may be shy at first, but she loves attention once she warms up. She’s not a huge fan of being picked up, but she’ll happily soak up affection on her own terms.

Data – A little shy at first and likes attention when he’s in the mood for it. He can also be a bit of a goofy spaz at times, which just adds to his charm.

Michelle – Michelle will do best in a quiet home where she can take her time settling in. She’s very shy at first, but once she opens up, she’s an adorable little purr box. When she gets scared, she quickly turns into an armadillo and curls right up!

All five are as playful as can be and each has their own unique personality. ❤️ https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACNY/Cat
