Day 1 of summer camp 2025 was HOT! And exhausting! We are all heading to bed now prepared to be evacuated due to an impending lightning storm tonight. Here's hoping we get to sleep and the storm passes us by!

We did it! Another successful scouting year is in the books. Congratulations to all our AOL as they advance to Troop 559 and to the rest of our scouts as they continue their journeys working on their next ranks!

🍂Hello everyone! Hope the kiddos had a good first full week back to school! Our Scout Pack is ready to start a NEW Scout year and look forward to seeing returning Scouts and New Scouts as well. Reminder: Tomorrow morning we are meeting at the Octagon House on Main St by 8:45, in full Class A uniform (shorts are good, blue or tan shirt, neckerchief, slide, scout hats are fine) for the Memorial Day parade. They decided to do things a little different and will "dismiss the guard" so instead of standing in the sun on the road we will all go sit in the park (in the shade). I would like all the scouts to stay together though as we will reconvene to continue the parade down to the firehall.

Perfect morning for a hike! These kids (and parents with a sibling) did a great job in the heat of the sun. We hiked 1.26 miles, learned some new things, and had some good conversation.

Tonight at 6pm is our next committee meeting. All are welcome and encouraged to attend while we finish planning out our scouting year.
