🇺🇸 Early this morning, while many were still sleeping, the women of the Akron Lady Lions were out proudly placing American flags throughout Akron as part of our annual Avenue of Flags. 🇺🇸

There’s something special about seeing our community lined with red, white, and blue… a reminder of the sacrifices made, the freedoms we share, and the pride we have in our hometown. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to all of the volunteers who woke up bright and early to help make this tradition possible. It’s more than placing flags… it’s about honoring those who served and remembering what Memorial Day truly represents.

If you drive through Akron today, take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the flags waving proudly throughout our village. 🇺🇸

🌿💙 Community is about more than just giving… it’s about showing up. 💙🌿

The Akron Lady Lions were honored to present a $500 donation to help support the beautification of the Rock Garden! But we didn’t stop there, our members also rolled up their sleeves and donated our hands and time to help make the space even more beautiful for the community to enjoy. 🌸🪨

There’s something special about coming together to create something meaningful, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping this local gem shine a little brighter.

💖👜 this week was about delivering hope.

Members of the Akron Lady Lions had the honor of delivering our “Purses of Hope” to the women of Cornerstone Manor.

Filled with essentials, comfort items, and encouragement, these purses were made possible through the generosity of our community and donations collected during our 💖 Booze for Bras initiative at Derby Dash.

Moments like this remind us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make someone feel seen, supported, and cared for.

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make this possible. Together, we are making a difference — one purse, one woman, one act of kindness at a time. 💙✨
