REACH - Reach, Educate & Assist Children by Helping Our mission is to prevent child hunger and child obesity by strengthening services in our community and removing barriers from eating healthy foods.

Our Snack Pantry is set up for students up to 18 years old that are enrolled in the free/reduced lunch program at Akron Central Schools. Providing a healthy snack after school ensures extra nutrition until the student eats dinner. Our goal is to promote positive attitudes about nutrition and food support. Distributions will be outside in front of the C. Dee Wright Community Center on 11 Church St.

as per covid-19 guidelines. If you have several kids, each child must provide their own individual number per snack; there can be no sharing of ID numbers. This also addresses closing the gap of 800 parents not enrolled in the Akron School free/reduced lunch program. Dates and Times to be announced

Stop by the C. Dee Wright Community Center today between 3:00 and 5:00 today to pick up FREE family food bags for students who receive free and reduced price school meals. If you can't make it during that time, please contact me at (716)536-1261 to set up a time for pick-up.

Healthy Foods Wishlist:
Peanut butter and jelly, granola bars, fruit cups, fresh fruit and veggies, cheese sticks, yogurt, juice boxes, cheese and cracker packs, graham crackers, ziplock gallon size bags, plastic spoons, napkins.
Thank you for your assistance. All donations will be used for the High School Food Pantry, for students in grades 9-12.
