Danny's Place See our Programs: www.dannys-place.org/programs Danny’s Place Youth Services has been a staple of the Acton-Boxborough community since 2005.

We provide young people, with experiences to explore, create, and discover their happiest, healthiest selves - through inclusive community programming, social-emotional experiences, and supportive resources. We empower youth through life and leadership skills by offering an array of workshops, community experiences and a library of resources that help young people grow into happy and healthy emerging adults. Danny’s Place is more than just a place - it provides in-person and virtual opportunities for young people to explore and create, to access helpful resources, and to grow into thriving, healthy emerging adults. Our physical space is a gathering space for our youth and our community, though our impact reaches far beyond the physical walls of Danny’s Place. We partner with several other community organizations to provide services, programs, and events to youth, families, and the greater community. There are a variety of opportunities for adults and teens to be involved. We hope that you will join us at DPYS where we imagine a world where youth develop valuable life skills, learn to relate to each other and become responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Presented by Northern Bank 🏦

A strong foundation in financial literacy touches almost everything else in life — saving for school or retirement, using debt responsibly, even starting a business someday. When kids learn to make informed decisions about money early, it sets them up for real stability, less stress, and a better quality of life down the road.

That's exactly what our new Financial Literacy program is built to do. Thanks to the generosity of Northern Bank, we're able to give Danny's Place kids and teens the tools to take control of their finances now — so those habits carry into adulthood instead of getting learned the hard way.

Here's what we'll cover:
- Spending and budgeting
- Career and job opportunities
- Savings and borrowing
- Credit
- Paycheck management
- Checking and expenses

Financial Literacy meets Thursdays, 5:30–6:30pm at Danny's Place. Registration is open now 👉 https://app.amilia.com/store/en/dannysplace/api/Activity/Detail?activityId=yQ9naMw

A big thank-you to Northern Bank for partnering with us to make this possible. 🐧

Could your teen use more community?

🌈 Common Threads is a FREE group for LGBTQ+ teens + allies in grades 7–10 to hang out, make stuff, talk about what matters, and meet other LGBTQ+ and ally teens in their community.

No pressure to have anything figured out. Teens might identify as LGBTQ+, be questioning or exploring, or simply want to show up as an ally. They’re welcome here.

Thursdays, 5:30–6:30pm

Here's an easy way to support Danny's Place this month without adding a single thing to your to-do list. From October 1st through October 31st, McGovern Subaru of Acton will donate a portion of every oil change and tire rotation service to Danny's Place.

That means a routine errand you were going to run anyway helps keep a place open where young people build belonging, confidence, and real-world skills as they discover who they are and grow into who they want to become. We're really grateful to McGovern Subaru for making it this simple for our community to show up for young people.

We're hosting a free 3D Printing Workshop on Saturday, October 3rd from 1 to 3pm, and it's exactly what it sounds like, two hours of hands-on time with the technology, not just watching a demo. Participants in grades 8-12 will work through the design side and see how something goes from an idea to an object you can actually pick up.

It's free, space is limited, and registration is open now at https://app.amilia.com/store/en/dannysplace/api/Activity/Detail?activityId=yn6evmL
