Boys and girls in K–5 can join the Acton/Boxborough Cub Scouts to make friends, try new things, and have fun outdoors. Everyone’s welcome! Want to make Robots?

From hikes to helping out in the community, there’s always something cool going on. Acton/Boxborough Cub Scouts represents the four Cub Scout Packs in the A/B School District. Pack 1 - Acton

couts do fun things with other kids! They get to wear a cool uniform, earn achievement awards, hike, camp, play all kinds of sports,build things like race cars and rockets. Want to learn a secret code? Want to learn about wild animals? Then Cub Scouting is for you! Cub Scout families get in on the fun and learning too. We welcome sisters, brothers, parents, grandparents. Any family member who wants to get in on the fun and learning. Parents get to enjoy meaningful time with their scouts while participating in these same activities, and to see and help their scouts to learn valuable life skills like first aid, and strong character values like honesty and courtesy. 💙💛 We’re excited to be part of the upcoming Acton-Boxborough Family Network Kindergarten Social and we can’t wait to meet so many families getting ready for this big new chapter. Kindergarten is such a special time full of new friendships, curiosity, and growth.

Cub Scouts is a great way to build on that excitement with meaningful experiences that complement what kids are learning in school: hands-on exploration, teamwork, confidence-building, and a strong sense of community.

🇺🇸 Upcoming Memorial Day Parade 🇺🇸

Our Cub Scouts are proud to take Acton's Memorial Day Parade! As part of their journey in Scouting, our girls and boys are learning the importance of active citizenship, community involvement, and honoring those who have served our country.

This is a great opportunity for our Scouts to represent our Packs, show their pride, and practice the values of respect and service that are central to the Scouting program. Reach out to your Den Leader or Cubmaster for meetup details.

We encourage families, friends, and community members to come out, cheer them on, and join us in remembering the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Did you know Scouting starts as early as Kindergarten? Our Lion program is designed just for these youngest learners—giving them a fun, welcoming place to build friendships, try new things, and start learning what it means to be a good citizen.
Through age-appropriate activities, Lions begin developing important life skills like teamwork, responsibility, and helping others—all while having a great time with their families.

Come visit us at the Acton-Boxborough Family Network -Boxborough Family Network Kindergarten Social — we’ll be hosting a Cub Scout information table where families can learn what Cub Scouting is all about and how kids of all genders can get involved.

Cub Scouts is full of hands-on adventures that go far beyond camping. Throughout the year, Scouts get to explore fun STEM-focused activities like:
