Step Up Ministries is a non profit organization in Aberdeen South Dakota. We help with short-term housing, resource connections, and guidance while people rebuild their lives. We take guests from treatment facilities and those dealing with homelessness. In addition, our jail ministry walks alongside incarcerated individuals within the jail as well as helping them upon release to society. Step Up Ministries renovates houses in Aberdeen to turn them into shelters to be a functional safe and sober place to rebuild lives. We currently have 4 houses. 2 houses are up and running and are full, housing 5 men each. 2 houses are are still in the renovation process with the hope to be up and running as soon as possible as we have a waiting guest list. Just wanted to give everyone a progress update on where we are with our houses. Captions about the houses are on each photo. We are primarily funded by donations!
