With the summer concert season behind us, we just wanted to take a moment to say Thank You! Between the three concerts, we had over 7,300 attendees, and raised more than $6,600 for local non-profits!
To our sponsors - we couldn’t have these free concerts without your support. It means the world to us that you helped make this all possible!!
Sewer Duck, Crafted Interiors, Pauer Sound LLC, Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce, Avera St. Luke's Hospital, Eide Bailly, The Alonzo Ward Hotel & Plaza, Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center, Dakota Plains Commercial & Residential Real Estate, NVC, Emberline Press, Dial-A-Move, Incorporated, Jocelyn Schumacher-REALTOR, IMEG, Healthcare Plus Federal Credit Union, Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. ⬅️ Give a huge round of applause to these businesses, they are the best!!
To our non-profit groups who ran the beer gardens, we are extremely grateful that you volunteered your time to run the tent and hope you had a great time!!
SPURS Therapeutic Riding Center, Area IV Senior Nutrition, and Aberdeen Area Humane Society
Our food vendors did an amazing job keeping up with the long lines and had a smile on their faces for every customer they served!! Nick's Pizza of Aberdeen, Tj's Bbq, Lemon + Aid LLC, and 605 Scoops.
And thanks to Market on the Plaza for being a back-up for beers, sodas, food and more! To One Legged Pheasant for bringing out your tap table and serving up some delicious brews!! Dan at Red Rooster Coffee House - thanks for bringing your stage down for our interpreters. We are happy that once again The Brown County Fair delivered the portable stage and picnic tables for each and every concert.
To Wayne, Savannah, and Andrea who did an awesome job translating songs to ASL. We are glad the mayor’s advisory council for people with disabilities helped get it set up and ran a booth during a concert. To the Aberdeen Curling Club for being gate attendants and checking ID’s, and Carol for teaching line dances. To Aberdeen Development Corporation for letting us borrow the plaza, the City of Aberdeen Municipal Government for getting us barricades, traffic cones, and signage that kept us all safe. Aberdeen Police Department for security at the event, the Aberdeen community theatre for lighting up the sign, and also the Aberdeen Insider for getting some great photography.
