Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up every young soul, every child, every teenager, and every young adult who is hurting, grieving, or feeling lost.
Lord, You see the pain and You see the tears that fall in silence and the questions that have no answers. Today, we lift up my boys and every young person who has lost a friend, a brother, a sister—someone they loved deeply. Wrap Your arms around them, God. Comfort them in a way only You can.
Father, we pray for every grieving mother, every broken family. Bring them together, Lord, even in the midst of sorrow. Let love replace anger, unity replace division, and peace fill every space where hurt has lived.
Your Word says that You are close to the brokenhearted, and we are holding on to that promise. Remind them, God, that they are not alone. Even in their darkest moments, You are there.
Lord, we ask that all who hear or read this prayer come into agreement and keep these families lifted. Please keep my family, the Smiths, and the Ellerbe family covered in Your grace and mercy. Lord, they need You right now—be their strength, their comfort, and their peace.
Protect our children, Lord. Cover my boys and my daughter and every young life with Your divine protection. Guide their steps, guard their minds, and shield their hearts from harm. Remove the spirit of violence and replace it with love, understanding, and purpose.
Lord, we believe in You. We trust in Your power. We stand on Your Word that nothing is too hard for You. Heal every broken heart. Restore every wounded spirit. Turn this pain into purpose and this sorrow into strength.
Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rest on every family tonight.
