15 грудня 2025 року в змішаному форматі, очно на території Кам'янець-Подільський державний історичний музей-заповідник 🏛️ та онлайн на платформі Zoom 💻 відбулася підсумкова зустріч міжнародного проєкту «Перехід до екотуризму на природоохоронних територіях через
тлумачення спадщини», що реалізується Національним екологічним центром України, за підтримки International Visegrad Fund Міжнародного Вишеградського Фонду 🤝
Захід об’єднав представників природоохоронних територій 🌲, музейних установ 🖼️, освітніх закладів 🎓,експертного середовища та громадських організацій з України й країн Вишеградської четвірки 🌐
Метою зустрічі стало підбиття підсумків реалізації проєкту 📊, презентація ключових напрацювань та історій успіху ⭐, а також обговорення перспектив подальшої співпраці у сфері розвитку екотуризму та тлумачення природної і культурної спадщини 🌱🏺
Зустріч розпочалась з вітального слова модератора заходу, заступника голови Національного
екологічного центру України @Миколи Близнюка, він представив команду проєкту та делегацію НЕЦУ у складі голови
НЕЦУ — Руслана Гаврилюка, та директора виконавчого — Євгена Бовсуновського.

Дороття Ач, менеджерка проєктів Міжнародного Вишеградського фонду, яка відзначила важливість проєкту як прикладу ефективної регіональноїспівпраці 🌐 та привітала команду з успішною реалізацією проєкту 🎉

Під час презентаційного блоку учасники ознайомилися з досвідом країн Вишеградської четвірки 🇨🇿🇵🇱🇸🇰🇭🇺 у
впровадженні інструментів екотуризму через тлумачення спадщини. Міхал Медек, директор Чеського інституту тлумачення спадщини (Чехія), представив практичні підходи до роботи з природною і культурною спадщиною 🌿🏛️, які можуть бути адаптовані для українських природоохоронних територій, а також окреслив шляхи можливої співпраці між Україною та Румунією через навчальну програму Interpret Europe 🎓
Окрему увагу було приділено міжнародній співпраці та перспективам розвитку мережі «Наука для Карпат» 🔬⛰️. Валерій Михайленко, експерт НЕЦУ та представник Київського медичного університету, окреслив потенціал цієї мережі як платформи для об’єднання науковців, практиків і громадських
організацій задля сталого розвитку Карпатського регіону 🌄. А також у своїй презентації представив результати міжнародної співпраці Національного екологічного центру України в рамках проєкту Вишеградської четвірки 🌍
Більш детально про проєкт, його цілі, основні заходи та ключові результати розповів лідер проєкту, заступник голови НЕЦУ Микола Близнюк 📌. Він представив огляд основних заходів проєкту, його практичні результати та історії успіху учасників ⭐, підкресливши значення співпраці між природоохоронними територіями, музеями та освітніми інституціями 🤝
Важливою складовою підсумкової зустрічі стала презентація студентських проєктів переможців мінігрантів 🎓реалізованих у межах проєкту.
Учасники мали змогу ознайомитися з конкретними прикладами того, як тлумачення спадщини може працювати на практиці 🛠️
Зокрема, було представлено проєкт «Природа – частина культурної спадщини: інтерактивна зоологічна кімната-музей» 🦌 на базі Національний природний парк "Гуцульщина", який
презентували Вероніка Попова та Ольга Димченко.
Проєкт поєднує природоохоронну тематику з освітніми та інтерактивними інструментами 🌿🎓
Проєкт «Без меж: віртуальна подорож для кожного» 🌐, реалізований у Карпатський національний природний парк, представили Юліяна Якуб’як та Уляна Федорова. Ініціатива спрямована на розширення доступу до природної спадщини через цифрові рішення та віртуальні формати 💻
Питання безбар’єрності та інклюзивності ♿ було також висвітлено у проєкті «Пізнання природоохоронної спадщини через безбар’єрність» у Національний природний парк "Вижницький" National Nature Park "Vyzhnytskyi", який представили Валерія Швайко та Єва Батигіна. Проєкт демонструє можливості залучення ширшої аудиторії до пізнання природоохоронних територій 🌍
Також було презентовано проєкт «Шляхами дараб» 🚣♂️ на території Національний природний парк "Верховинський", який представили Владислав Зеленчук та Василь Пітеляк.
Ініціатива поєднує природну, культурну та історичну спадщину регіону 🏞️, пропонуючи нові формати екотуристичних маршрутів
Завершальним етапом зустрічі став ярмарок ідей 💡, під час якого відбулося обговорення перспектив
міжнародної співпраці. Зокрема заслухали презентацію про діяльність спільного комунального підприємства «Пониззя» 🤝
До дискусії долучилися представники Національного екологічного центру України, Камʼянець-Подільського державного історичного музею-заповідника 🏛️, Національного природного парку «Подільські Товтри» 🌄 та інших зацікавлених організацій. Учасники обговорили можливі спільні
ініціативи, напрями подальшої співпраці та плани розвитку екотуризму на природоохоронних територіях через тлумачення спадщини 🌿

On 15 December 2025, the final meeting of the international project “Shifting towards Ecotourism in Protected Areas through Heritage Interpretation” was held in a hybrid format — offline at the premises of the Kamianets-Podilskyi State Historical Museum-Reserve 🏛️ and online via the Zoom platform 💻.
The project is implemented by the National Ecological Centre of Ukraine with the support of the International Visegrad Fund 🤝.
The event brought together representatives of protected areas 🌲, museum institutions 🖼️, educational establishments 🎓, the expert community, and civil society organisations from Ukraine and the Visegrad Four countries 🌐.
The purpose of the meeting was to summarise the project implementation 📊, present key outputs and success stories ⭐, and discuss prospects for further cooperation in the field of ecotourism development and interpretation of natural and cultural heritage 🌱🏺.
The meeting opened with a welcome address by the moderator, the Deputy Chair of the National Ecological Centre of Ukraine 🎤, who introduced the project team and the NECU delegation, including NECU Chair Ruslan Havryliuk and Executive Director Yevhen Bovsunovskyi.
Welcome remarks were delivered by 🤗:

Ruslan Havryliuk, Chair of the National Ecological Centre of Ukraine and National Coordinator of the Ukrainian Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of cross-sectoral cooperation 🤝, the role of civil society, and international support in implementing sustainable approaches to the management of protected areas 🌍.
Dorottya Ács, Project Manager at the International Visegrad Fund, highlighted the importance of the project as an example of effective regional cooperation 🌐 and congratulated the team on the successful implementation of the project 🎉.

During the presentation block, participants learned about the experience of the Visegrad Four countries 🇨🇿🇵🇱🇸🇰🇭🇺 in implementing ecotourism tools through heritage interpretation. Michal Medek, Director of the Czech Institute of Heritage Interpretation (Czech Republic), presented practical approaches to working with natural and cultural heritage 🌿🏛️ that can be adapted for Ukrainian protected areas, and outlined possible avenues for cooperation between Ukraine and Romania through the Interpret Europe training programme 🎓.
Special attention was paid to international cooperation and the development prospects of the “Science for the Carpathians” network 🔬⛰️. Valerii Mykhailenko, NECU expert and representative of Kyiv Medical University, outlined the potential of this network as a platform for uniting scientists, practitioners, and civil society organisations for the sustainable development of the Carpathian region 🌄. He also presented the results of NECU’s international cooperation within the framework of the Visegrad Four project 🌍.
A more detailed overview of the project — its goals, main activities, and key results — was provided by the Project Leader, Mykola Blyzniuk, Deputy Chair of NECU 📌. He presented the main project activities, practical outcomes, and participants’ success stories ⭐, emphasising the importance of cooperation between protected areas, museums, and educational institutions 🤝.
An important component of the final meeting was the presentation of student mini-grant projects 🎓💡 implemented within the project framework. Participants were able to explore concrete examples of how heritage interpretation works in practice 🛠️.
In particular, the project “Nature as Part of Cultural Heritage: an Interactive Zoological Room-Museum” 🦌 at Hutsulshchyna National Nature Park was presented by Veronika Popova and Olha Dymchenko. The project combines conservation topics with educational and interactive tools 🌿🎓.
The project “Without Limits: a Virtual Journey for Everyone” 🌐, implemented in the Carpathian National Nature Park, was presented by Yuliiana Yakubiak and Uliana Fedorova. The initiative aims to expand access to natural heritage through digital solutions and virtual formats 💻.
Issues of accessibility and inclusiveness ♿ were also addressed in the project “Discovering Protected Heritage through Barrier-Free Access” implemented in Vyzhnytskyi National Nature Park, presented by Valeriia Shvaiko and Yeva Batygina. The project demonstrates opportunities to engage a wider audience in learning about protected areas 🌍.
The project “Along the Paths of Darabs” 🚣♂️, implemented in Verkhovynskyi National Nature Park, was presented by Vladyslav Zelenchuk and Vasyl Pitelak. The initiative combines natural, cultural, and historical heritage 🏞️, offering new formats of ecotourism routes.
The final stage of the meeting was an idea fair 💡, during which prospects for international cooperation were discussed. In particular, a presentation on the activities of the joint municipal enterprise “Ponyzzia” was delivered 🤝.
The discussion involved representatives of the National Ecological Centre of Ukraine, the Kamianets-Podilskyi State Historical Museum-Reserve 🏛️, Podilski Tovtry National Nature Park 🌄, and other interested organisations. Participants discussed joint initiatives, future cooperation areas, and plans for developing ecotourism in protected areas through heritage interpretation 🌿.
The discussions concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation ✍️ between the National Ecological Centre of Ukraine and the joint municipal enterprise “Ponyzzia”, formalising the parties’ intentions for further joint activities in the development of ecotourism and interpretation of natural and cultural heritage 🌍.
