A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS FOR AROSIP LEARNERS! โœจ๐Ÿ“š

Today marks a momentous milestone as we officially celebrated the Blessing and Turnover Ceremony of the Arosip-Lorma Heritage Reading Hub at Arosip Elementary School!

This vibrant new space is more than just walls and booksโ€”it is a sanctuary of knowledge, imagination, and dreams built specifically for our beloved young learners.

This dream-turned-reality is a beautiful testament to the power of Bayanihan. It is a proud joint project of Lorma Colleges, Arosip Elementary School, and the Arosip ES Parents-Teachers Association (PTA).

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this possible:
The Lorma Colleges National Service Training Program (NSTP), whose dedicated funds fueled the construction of this hub.

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bacnotan and the Barangay Council of Arosip for their unwavering guidance, support, and leadership.

Our hardworking teachers, parents, and community volunteers who poured their hearts into this project.

To the learners of Arosip Elementary School, this Reading Hub is for you! May it inspire you to read more, learn more, and reach for your biggest dreams.

Hereโ€™s to fostering a stronger reading culture and building a brighter future, one book at a time..

Unity in Action: Lorma Colleges and LGU Bacnotan Partnering for Progress and Inclusivity!

Today Aptril 16, 2026, we are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to community service and academic excellence! Lorma Colleges and the Local Government Unit of Bacnotan have officially solidified their partnership through the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This momentous occasion was led by the Municipal Mayor of Bacnotan and the President of Lorma Colleges, marking a unified commitment to progress. The signing was witnessed by key officials from both the LGU and Lorma Colleges, ensuring a strong foundation for the projects ahead.
This collaboration isnโ€™t just a formal agreementโ€”itโ€™s a promise to bring academic expertise directly to the heart of the community. Last March 25, 2026, as the vibrant sails of the Flotilla painted our horizon for Foundation Day, the Lorma Colleges family was on the ground with a mission: Cleaning up while celebrating our vibrant Flotilla traditions.

We believe that true festivity goes hand-in-hand with responsibility. While the community gathered to witness the beauty of our maritime heritage, our students, faculty, and staff worked together to ensure that our shores remain as pristine as our history.

By integrating environmental stewardship into our founding anniversary, we honor the waters that sustain us and the community that defines us. At Lorma, we don't just celebrate our pastโ€”we protect our future.

At Lorma Colleges, extension work is a vital pillar of our identity. We are thrilled to share that a new MOA has been signed, marking a 3-year commitment to data-driven health programs in San Fernando City.
Research Institute Chairman Mrs. Marites C. Pagdilao presented a comprehensive framework that integrates LORMA Research Thrusts with SDGs 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, and 17. This partnership ensures that our extension activitiesโ€”ranging from Quality Assessments to the Paaralang Bughaw programโ€”are backed by evidence and aimed at long-term sustainability.
Through the synergy of Research and Extension, we continue to uphold our commitment to Pillar 2: A Culture of Wellbeing.
