In celebration of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, the incoming officers of Society of Information Technology Students (SITS) gathered in faith and thanksgiving as sponsors of today’s Holy Mass at the Transfiguration of the Lord Chapel, presided over by Rev. Fr. Rumpearl Tenkings Isaac, CICM, June 7.

Through his homily, Rev. Fr. Isaac encouraged everyone to reflect on the famous question from Nescafé, “𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒌𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝒌𝒂 𝒃𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒏?” — who or what motivates us to continue despite the sacrifices we make each day.

“As we celebrate the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, remember as well that we are the Body of Christ, we are the Blood of Christ, we are the children of God — and we need to start living as such,” Rev. Fr. Isaac emphasized.

Corpus Christi reminds the faithful to let Jesus Christ be the model of love and sacrifice, and to become examples for others to follow.

Gawad San Luis is an annual prestigious institutional awards ceremony hosted by Sain Louis College - City of San Fernando, La Union. Derived from the Tagalog word gawad (to grant an award) and named after the institution's patron saint, Saint Aloysius de Gonzaga, the ceremony honors students and student organizations who demonstrate exceptional service, excellence, and adherence to the core mission of the institution.

From sports and leadership to culture, arts, and faith-centered service, the IT students were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the school community on May 23, 2026 at the Fr. 𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗦 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Society of Information Technology Students (SITS) has successfully concluded its General Assembly, marking a significant milestone as we transition into a new academic year. The assembly was centered on transparency and growth, highlighting a comprehensive presentation of our accomplishments and a review of our financial reports within the organization.

A special highlights of the assembly was the talk with our guest speaker, Ms. Jaymie Tan, a representative from Haranah Tours. Ms. Tan shared invaluable insights regarding the upcoming International Educational Tour for tthe BSIT students. Her discussion illuminated the importance of global exposure in the tech industry that showcased how cross-border learning experiences can sharpen the technical skills and broaden the professional horizons.

The assembly culminated in the official SITS Elections 2026, where the student body exercised its right to choose a new set of officers.

They earned 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗽 (𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿) at the Women in STEM Summit 2026 in J&V Hotel, Sevilla, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Guided by their coach, Mr. Jake Vincent Casugay, the team presented 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗟𝗘, a mobile-based SOS and Community Support System featuring emergency alerts, live location sharing, and incident reporting to support faster and more accessible response. SHERCLE reflects its mission of 𝗦alwad (protection), 𝗛ealing, 𝗘mpowerment, 𝗥esponsiveness, 𝗖ommunity, 𝗟ivelihood, and 𝗘quality—symbolized by a “circle of safety” connecting users, responders, and authorities.
