The Rotaract Club of LORMA Colleges urges everyone in La Union to stay alert as Typhoon Uwan continues to bring heavy rain and strong winds to our area. Please keep the following emergency hotlines within easy reach at all times.

For your safety, please remain indoors as much as possible. Avoid going near trees, power lines, or flooded areas. If the weather worsens or you feel unsafe, move immediately to a secure and safer location or proceed to the nearest evacuation center.

On November 21, 2024, the Rotaract Club of LORMA Colleges hosted Project Ayat: Para iti Kabataan at Labbon Elementary School, Caba, La Union. This community service initiative, in collaboration with LORMA CMLS Community and Public Health students, DMMMSU Graduate School PhD students, and CMLS faculty and graduates, promoted water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices among elementary students.

The event featured an interactive Handwashing Session with hygiene kit distribution and a Fecalysis Activity highlighting hygieneโ€™s role in preventing diseases. This impactful program empowered young students to adopt healthier habits, inspiring positive change within their families and communities.

Together, weโ€™re building a healthier future! ๐Ÿ’ง๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ’™
