World Immunization Week 2026

• BCG (kontra tuberculosis)
• Hepatitis B
• Pentavalent vaccine (DPT-Hep B-Hib)
• Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) / Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV)
• Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV)
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
• Measles-Rubella (MR)

Para sa buntis:
• Tetanus Toxoid / Tetanus-Diphtheria (TT/TD)

Para sa iba pang grupo:
• Pneumococcal Vaccine (para sa mga Senior Citizens)
• Influenza Vaccine (depende sa availability)

✔️ Ligtas
✔️ Epektibo

⚠️ Pwedeng idulot kapag nakain:
❌ Pagsusuka at pagtatae
❌ Pananakit ng tiyan
❌ Pagkahilo
❌ Iregular na tibok ng puso
❌ Matinding pagkalason o kamatayan

🌱 Ilan sa dapat iwasan:
• Tubang-bakod
• Tangan-tangan
• Yellow Oleander (Campanilla)
• Adelfa

💡 Tandaan:

✔️ Huwag piliting magsuka

🌞❤️ Beat the Heat, Keep Food Safe! ❤️🌞

As temperatures rise, the risk of food contamination and foodborne diseases also increases. Illnesses such as cholera, typhoid fever, and hepatitis can spread more easily when food is not handled properly. Hot weather allows bacteria to grow faster, making food spoil quickly.

The City Health Office of the City of San Fernando reminds everyone: Food safety starts at home. Let’s protect our families by following the Five Keys to Safer Food. 🍽️✨

🥗 1. Keep Clean
✔ Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after handling food.
✔ Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and utensils regularly.
✔ Protect food and kitchen areas from flies and pests.

🍗 2. Separate Raw and Cooked Food
✔ Keep raw meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs separate from cooked food.
✔ Use separate knives and chopping boards.
✔ Store food in covered containers.

🔥 3. Cook Food Thoroughly
✔ Cook meat, poultry, eggs, and seafood to at least 70°C.
✔ Ensure meat juices run clear, not pink.
✔ Reheat leftovers thoroughly to 75°C.
✔ Thaw frozen food in the refrigerator or microwave, not on the counter.

❄️ 4. Keep Food at Safe Temperatures
✔ Follow the 2-Hour Rule — do not leave cooked food at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
✔ In very hot weather, limit this to 1 hour.
✔ Refrigerate perishable food promptly below 5°C.

💧 5. Use Safe Water and Raw Materials
✔ Drink and prepare food using safe or boiled water.
✔ Choose fresh and wholesome ingredients.

⚠️ Seek medical attention immediately if you experience:
• Severe diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Fever
• Signs of dehydration

Let us all work together Towards a Healthier San Fernando. ❤️
Stay safe this summer and always remember: Healthy food handling protects lives.
