KAPIT-BISIG CONSUMERS & WORKERS ALLIANCE (KABISIG) is sectoral civic organization which aims to protect the consumers and workers' rights and promote their welfare, provide opportunities for consumers' and workers' growth and development, and pave the way for a just, humane, and free society. borers and consumers --- -from abuses in the workplace, to measures that could be taken in ensuring workers’ benefits-all these pressing matters found resolve in the organization. KABISIG is an organization of independent workers and professionals that stands firm for the cause of itinerant workers (including the networkers, factory workers and other professionals, security guards, farmers and retired laborers, including electricity rates hike increase, wage concerns and other related problems whose causes have not been protected by organized labor groups and unions, and whose concerns and problems have not been effectively and directly espoused and defended. KAPIT-BISIG CONSUMERS & WORKERS ALLIANCE (KABISIG) is a sectoral group affiliated with the 30-year old NAT'L CONSUMER AFFAIRS FOUNDATION (NCAF), which advocates workers welfare and social justice. KABISIG pushes for sustainable employment, as well as workers and consumers rights, easy access to education, reforming the current health care system, and allot additional finances for housing programs, specially to less privileged Filipino workers and consumers. KABISIG supports cooperative system and free livelihood and business opportunities programs to provide income opportunities to KABISIG members. KABISIG also aims to promote the advancement and protection of the rights of workers and consumers, specially the indigenous workers and the marginalized groups.
