A child’s environment flourishes when kindness and support are present.

Community fathers reconvened for the 4th Fatherhood Session, entitled “Haligi ng Tahanan, Gabay ng Kinabukasan,” last September 26.

The session reminded fathers of their duty as role models to teach their children discipline without resorting to anger. Through the “Fatherhood Shield” activity and workshop, they reflected on their parenting and what needed to change, and shared their core values regarding fatherhood.

Through open discussions like this, the fathers learned more about themselves, fostering a safe and supportive environment for their children.

Mastering the math behind a successful business!

On September 12, 2026, 25 determined participants took a major step toward financial independence during our Livelihood Session: Cost Analysis, led by JR Demecais from Inquirer Academy. This session gives participants the essential tools to price their products for real profit—teaching them how to calculate full ingredient costs, account for hidden production expenses, and set margins that actually sustain a business. Putting theory into action, participants worked in four teams to analyze and price everyday local street foods, gaining hands-on practice in balancing competitive prices with practical profit. By replacing guesswork with clear financial strategies, this workshop empowers our community members to stretch every peso, make confident business decisions, and lay the groundwork for long-term growth.
