HONORING THE LEGACY OF LT ANTONIO BAUTISTA

On 17 September 2026, a commemorative bust honoring the memory, service, and enduring legacy of LT ANTONIO BAUTISTA was unveiled at Antonio Bautista Air Base (ABAB), Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

The solemn ceremony was led by his widow, Mrs. Alice Jane Bautista, together with the Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, LTGEN ARTHUR M CORDURA PAF, in a meaningful tribute to LT BAUTISTA’S distinguished service and lasting contributions.

The occasion was witnessed by members of LT BAUTISTA’s family, personnel of Tactical Operations Wing West (TOW WEST) and the 570th Air Base Group (570th ABG), as well as the PAF Officers and Ladies Club (PAFOLC) Central, headed by Mrs. Christine F. Cordura, Senior Club Adviser, and the ABAB Ladies Club, headed by Mrs. Mylene A. Grayda, Area Adviser.

The unveiling of the bust serves as a lasting symbol of remembrance and gratitude for LT ANTONIO BAUTISTA. His name, sacrifice, and legacy continue to inspire and live on at the air base that proudly carries his name.

On 17 September 2026, the Educational Assistance Program (EAP) of the Philippine Air Force Officers’ Ladies Club (PAFOLC) conducted the distribution of educational assistance to scholarship grantees of Antonio Bautista Air Base (ABAB) at the ABAB Ladies Club Office.

Mrs. Christine “Pola” F. Cordura, PAFOLC Senior Adviser, personally awarded the educational assistance to the new batch of scholarship grantees for School Year 2026–2027. She was joined by Mrs. Mylene Arellano-Grayda, ABAB Ladies Club Area Adviser, in recognizing and supporting the students as they embark on another chapter of their academic journey. A cash incentive was also presented to a recent graduate in recognition of his academic achievement and perseverance.

School Year 2026–2027 Scholarship Grantees:

On 17 September 2026, PAF Officer Ladies Club Senior Adviser Ma’am Christine "Pola" F. Cordura, together with the ABAB Ladies Club Officers headed by its adviser Mrs. Mylene Arellano-Grayda, conducted a tree-planting activity at the Transient Quarters Grounds of Antonio Bautista Air Base, Puerto Princesa City.

As part of the activity, Ma’am Cordura planted a Balayong tree, famously known as the “Cherry Blossom of Palawan” as a meaningful gesture that symbolizes beauty, growth, and a shared commitment in contributing to a greener and more sustainable future. 🌸🌱

Together, we continue to nurture nature and inspire positive change in our community.

Naldoza, together with BGEN VICENTE A NALDOZA JR PAF, Wing Commander of the 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing (ACWW), as they graced the 39th Founding Anniversary of the 584th Aircraft and Control Group, held at Marquez Hall, Antonio Bautista Air Base, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

On 22 July 2026, the ABAB Ladies Club participated in a Livelihood Activity and Financial Literacy Seminar entitled "Creative Backdrop Design: A Small Business Start-up Opportunity," spearheaded by TOWWest's Family Readiness and Support System (FRSS) and Gender and Development (GAD).

Ms. Maria Elena Lachica De Guzman shared her expertise in event styling, creative backdrop design, balloon artistry, pricing strategies, client engagement, and small business management. Through her industry-based insights and hands-on techniques, participants gained practical knowledge and valuable skills to help them explore entrepreneurial opportunities and develop sustainable small business ventures.
