From May 21–23, 2026, Antonio Bautista Air Base (ABAB), under the leadership of BGEN JOSE JOHNSON T GRAYDA PAF, successfully held its first-ever Barrio Fiesta with the theme, “Pista sa ABAB: Sama-samang Pagdiriwang para sa Matatag at Nagkakaisang Komunidad.”

The three-day celebration brought together military personnel, civilian human resources, and their families in a vibrant display of unity, camaraderie, and community spirit. The event featured a variety of activities that highlighted the talents, creativity, and teamwork of the ABAB community.

One of the major highlights of the fiesta was the ABAB Got Talent singing competition, where talented personnel from various units showcased their exceptional vocal abilities and entertained the audience with remarkable performances.

Another crowd-favorite event was the Search for Little Ms. ABAB, which featured seven charming and talented young contestants competing for the coveted title. The ABAB Ladies Club actively supported the activity by serving as members of the Board of Judges and sponsoring prizes for the special awardees, further contributing to the success of the event.

The successful conduct of the first-ever ABAB Barrio Fiesta reflects the base’s commitment to fostering stronger relationships, promoting morale and welfare, and building a more resilient and united community through meaningful and family-centered activities.

Caring for and nurturing a family requires immense time, energy, and dedication from mothers. While they wholeheartedly devote themselves to their loved ones, they also deserve moments of “me-time” and self-care to recharge and maintain their well-being.

With this in mind, the ABAB Ladies Club, under the leadership of their Area Adviser, Ma’am Myles Arellano-Grayda, together with Ma’am Gilda L. Padua, EPLC Adviser, successfully conducted their Mother’s Day Celebration, Wellness, and Team Building Activity on May 12–13, 2026, at Pakpak-Lauin.

The activity aimed to provide the Ladies Club officers with an opportunity to unwind and take a meaningful break from their daily duties and responsibilities at home. It also served as a venue for relaxation, strengthening camaraderie, and fostering stronger relationships among the members of the club through fun-filled and meaningful activities.
