Bilang bahagi ng mamamayang nagmamahal at naglilingkod sa bayan, ang Eagle Scouts Organization of the Philippines – Palawan – Puerto Princesa City Council Chapter ay nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng National Flag Days (May 28 – June 12) bilang pagpupugay sa sagisag ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kasarinlan, at pagmamahal sa Inang Bayan.

“Hindi lamang tela ang watawat—ito ang hanging humihinga ng kasaysayan, ang apoy na patuloy na nag-aalab sa puso ng bawat Pilipino.”

Sa bawat pagwagayway ng ating bandila, naaalala natin ang dugo ng sakripisyo, liwanag ng kalayaan, at tibok ng pagkakaisang bumubuo sa ating bayan. Ang p**a ay tapang, ang bughaw ay dangal, at ang araw ay pag-asang kailanman ay hindi lulubog sa pusong tunay na Pilipino.

Nawa’y dalhin natin ang diwa ng pagiging makabayan hindi lamang sa pagdiriwang, kundi sa bawat gawa, paninindigan, at paglilingkod sa sambayanan.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲-𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞'𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞. 🦅

Today, April 27, marks exactly 35 years since our founding officers took their oath during the 9th National Jamboree at Mt. Makiling back in 1991. We started out as a small group under an acacia tree, forming the CARES National Association, before eventually becoming the Eagle Scouts Organization of the Philippines (ESOP).

When we look back at the past three and a half decades, it really brings to life our theme for this year: "ESOP Through the Years of Growth and Strength." It is truly humbling to see how much this brotherhood has expanded from those early days into active chapters all over the country. Our numbers and strength have grown, but our core purpose remains the exact same. Being an Eagle Scout isn't just a rank we earned back in the day; it's a lifelong commitment to servant-leadership, mentoring our younger scouts, and stepping up for our communities.

A project for Palaw'an Children implemented by Social Work Practitioners from Palawan State University- Main Campus in partnership with 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐚, 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, 𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐄𝐒𝐎𝐏) – 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐁𝐒𝐏) – 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍 aims to provide essential school supplies, community-built bookshelf, and culturally relevant flashcards translating Tagalog language into Palaw'an for the children of 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐒𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧, 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧.

This project focuses on supporting the learning needs of day care and elementary-level children in the community by providing accessible educational materials and creating a child-friendly bookshelf through community participation. It also promotes the preservation of the Palaw’an language by introducing flashcards that translates Tagalog language to Palaw'an, making learning more meaningful and culturally relevant.

The project will be implemented from April 13 to April 30, 2026, benefiting children in Sitio Mapasong through the distribution of school supplies, translation flashcards, installation of bookshelf, and conduct of interactive learning activities.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 || Under the guidance of our OIC-CSE Sir Ronnie G. Caralipio, the Awards Committee recently gathered to screen the next generation of Council Outstanding Boy and Senior Scouts of the Year. Led by Chairperson ES Carlo Coloquio and Co-Chairperson ES Fernan Sagun, with members FSE Ivy Marie Bayog, ES Ma. Lennie Joy Oab, and ES Zhefa Nyra Andal, the committee looked for scouts who truly embody the scouting spirit.

The evaluation was based on their Academic Performance and their heart for volunteering - recognizing activities that benefit themselves, the people around them, and the entire community.

Above all, every step of this process remains deeply anchored in the Scout Oath and Law. We are proud to honor scouts who are not only mentally awake but also dedicated to helping other people at all times.
