𝗔 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦!

Every year on October 4, World Animal Day reminds us that animals are more than just creatures sharing this planet with us; they are living beings deserving of love, respect, and protection. They may not speak our language, but they feel pain, fear, and affection just as we do. This day serves as a reminder that protecting them is not merely an act of kindness but a responsibility we all share.

Let us be the voice for those who cannot speak, the hands that offer care, and the hearts that choose compassion over cruelty. Every small act matters, whether it is providing shelter, showing kindness, or standing against animal abuse.

A better world for animals begins with us. Let compassion lead, and let protection become our shared responsibility. 🐾💚

On September 25th at Maceda Ground, JHCSC Main Campus, the School of Agriculture, Forestry, and Environmental Studies (SAFES) community gathered for the much-awaited Pakighimamat, an event dedicated to welcoming our new students and strengthening the bonds of the SAFES family.

The event also served as a moment of recognition and leadership, with the introduction of both old and new officers of SAFES and the oath-taking ceremony for our newly elected leaders, marking the start of another year of service and dedication.

In addition, we proudly recognized the Dean’s Listers, whose academic excellence and hard work inspire us to strive for greater achievements. Their success is a reflection of discipline, perseverance, and commitment to excellence that we can all look up to.

Pakighimamat was more than just an assembly, it was a celebration of unity, leadership, and academic excellence. Together, we look forward to another year of growth, service, and shared purpose in building a stronger SAFES community.
