Today’s fire drill reminded us that preparedness is not just an activity — it is a responsibility.

Through cooperation, discipline, and awareness, we learned the importance of staying calm and acting quickly during emergency situations.

A successful drill is a result of teamwork and participation from everyone involved. Thank you to all students, faculty, staff, and responders who took part in making this activity organized and meaningful.

TECHNO NEWS | PPCI Student Leaders Join DAR Project SPLIT Training

College Student Government officers of the Palawan Polytechnic College Incorporated (PPCI) participated in the Project SPLIT Awareness and Youth Impact Training conducted by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Palawan Provincial Office today, May 7, 2026.

The activity highlighted the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) and the parcelization process, which aims to convert collective land titles into individual ownership to strengthen land tenure security among agrarian reform beneficiaries.

DAR MIMAROPA Regional Director Atty. Marvin V. Bernal discussed the key procedures, including field validation, land surveys, and title registration. Programs on legal assistance, capacity building, and support services for beneficiaries were also presented during the training.

Officials also underscored the important role of the youth in promoting agrarian rights and supporting food security and sustainable agricultural development.
