Our *Collective Care* The session was truly a success! ๐
Lately, many of us have been feeling overwhelmed โ juggling school, personal challenges, and the everyday pressures of life. So we created โCollective Careโ as a space where we could simply pause, move our bodies, talk honestly, and support one another without judgment.
On February 19, Thursday, instead of our usual debate sessions, we came together to let go of the stress weโve been carrying and just be present with each other. We started with light stretches to release tension, followed by calming breathing exercises to help us slow down and reset. Then came the most meaningful part โ our sharing circle.
We asked, โWhatโs the toughest thing youโre facing right now?โ
And one by one, stories shared โ endless deadlines, academic pressure, personal struggles, and the quiet battles many of us face daily. There were nods of understanding, soft โsame hereโ moments, and a shared realization that none of us are alone in what weโre going through.
We ended the session on a positive note by asking, โWhat are you grateful for today?โ๐
Gratitude filled the room โ friends, small victories, personal growth, and the simple comfort of being surrounded by people who care. Laughter followed, and energy was lifted.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, opened up, and held space for each other. โCollective Careโ isnโt just an event โ itโs a reminder that weโre stronger when we look out for one another.
