2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026

Manila High School successfully conducted the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18, 2026, as part of our continuous commitment to disaster preparedness and school safety.

The activity was led by our dedicated Quick Response Team (QRT) Officers under the guidance of Mr. Franz Elman R. Molo, BERT Adviser. The drill was observed by Mr. George Luis Mandap, Mrs. Mariel C. Remegio, and Mr. Noel Castañeda, ensuring the proper implementation of safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Through activities like this, Manila High School strengthens the preparedness, awareness, and responsiveness of both learners and personnel during emergency situations.

A glimpse of our dedicated educators from Manila High School as they took part in a free guided tour of the San Agustin Museum.This special visit allowed our teachers to dive deeper into the rich history and cultural heritage preserved within the museum walls. By continuously learning and exploring these historic landmarks, our mentors ensure they bring fresh inspiration and
deeper knowledge back into our classrooms.

The Manila High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government highly appreciates our teachers' commitment to continuous learning. Seeing our educators actively engage with our local history sets a wonderful example for the entire student body to follow. PASYAL-ARAL 2026

On June 9 and 10, a total of 228 Grade 7 students participated in an enriching educational tour within the historic Walled City of Intramuros.

With the guidance of knowledgeable tour guides, the students explored Fort Santiago, Casa Manila, Museo de Intramuros, and Baluarte de San Diego, gaining valuable insights into Philippine history, culture, and heritage. This meaningful experience allowed them to connect classroom learning with real-life historical sites, fostering a deeper appreciation for our nation’s past.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Intramuros Administrationfor sponsoring this educational tour and for their commitment to promoting historical awareness among the youth.

BRIGHT EYES, BRIGHT FUTURE!

A clearer tomorrow begins with a clearer vision today!

Manila High School, in partnership with Fruitas Holdings Inc. and Optic Vision Center, successfully kicked off the "Bright Eyes, Bright Future Project" today, June 13, 2026.

This project aims to support our students by providing free comprehensive eye examinations and prescription eyeglasses to help them excel in their studies and daily lives.

Here are the quick details of the project:

👥 Beneficiaries: 100 selected student recipients from Manila High School.

📅 June 13, 2026: Free Eye Check-Up and Assessment

📅 July 4, 2026: Culminating Activity & Distribution of Free Eyeglasses.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Fruitas Holdings Inc. and Optic Vision Center for their generosity and commitment to the well-being of our community.

𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒆 𝟖,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - A beginning of another chapter of our student life. The first day of school isn’t just going back to reality or a typical life scenario-it’s a chance to make core memories and discover new amazing people!

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government asked different Mahighers kung kamusta ba ang first day of school nila. Ano nga ba? May ibang na-over sa happy,may happy lang,at may sakto lang ang experience.

But whatever your experience are,we hope na kung masaya ang first day mo ay magtuloy-tuloy na yan if not let’s stay positive and look forward for opportunities and growth!
