This August, we celebrate the Altar Servers Month. We express our deepest gratitude to the dedicated members of our Ministry of Altar Servers for their steadfast commitment, reverence, and service at the table of the Eucharist.

Through every liturgical celebration and silent prayer before the sanctuary, our altar servers embody the spirit of devotion—helping our entire community enter more deeply into the mystery of the Mass. Their quiet, disciplined service serves as an inspiring reminder to us all of what it means to offer our time and energy for the greater glory of God.

As a new academic year begins, the Mapúa Campus Ministry warmly invites our incoming freshmen and the entire Mapúan community to gather in prayer for the Frosh Mass & Mass of the Holy Spirit on August 3, 2026 (Monday) at the Sta. Rita de Cascia Chapel.

Let us invoke the wisdom, guidance, and peace of the Holy Spirit as we start this new chapter together. Under the loving gaze of our patroness, Saint Rita of Cascia, we entrust our studies, growth, and memories into God’s hands. May we find courage and inspiration as we step into the halls of our University.

𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐖 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐋𝐎 𝐒𝐀 𝐌𝐀𝐏𝐔𝐀

With joy and reverence, the Mapúa Campus Ministry invites the entire Mapúan community to open their hearts for Dalaw Consuelo sa Mapúa—the visit of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación y Correa, the beloved Patroness of the Walled City of Intramuros.

The venerable image of Our Lady of Consolation and Cincture of the San Agustin Church- Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Consolación y Correa will reside at the Chapel of St. Rita of Cascia, Mapúa University from August 12 to 19, 2026.

Saint Rita of Cascia was a devoted Augustinian nun. The black leather cincture (correa) worn by Our Lady is the key symbol of the Augustinian Order—a habit worn by St. Rita herself as a sign of dedication, comfort, and heavenly protection. As Our Lady of Consolation enters St. Rita’s chapel, it is a touching reunion of the Holy Mother and her faithful Augustinian daughter.

Come, visit, and pray before the patroness who has watched over Intramuros for centuries. Let us seek her intercession for peace in our hearts, wisdom in our studies, and strength in our daily lives.

"Education has always challenged us to go deeper, to be persons of discernment—people who are not satisfied with appearances, but seek what is true, good, and pleasing to God."

As we begin another academic year, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila-Educational System (RCAM-ES) gathered for the Mass of the Holy Spirit 2026, calling on the wisdom and guidance of the Paraclete to illuminate our educational journey.

In his insightful homily, H.E. Jose F. Cardinal Advincula reminded us of the true essence and deeper purpose of Catholic education. Cardinal Advincula's words serve as a powerful challenge for us at the University: to look beyond surface-level success and strive for genuine wisdom, ethical integrity, and spiritual depth in everything we do.

May the light of the Holy Spirit guide our administrators, faculty, staff, and students throughout this academic year.
