๐Ÿ“ข ANNOUNCEMENT | REVIEW OF ORGANIZATIONAL AND DEPARTMENTAL CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS RESCHEDULED

The Maryhill College Commission on Elections announces that the Review of the Organizational and Departmental Constitution and By-Laws has been rescheduled.

The MARYHILL COLLEGE, INC. affirms and so holds that violence has no place in schools.

The online posts and reports circulating on social media relative to an โ€œattempted stabbing incidentโ€ inside the premises of MARYHILL COLLEGE, INC. involving two Grade 11 students do not reflect the complete and accurate account of what actually transpired.

We deeply regret that a bladed-weapon found its way into the school premises, against institutional policy and notwithstanding rigid security protocols. It has been established though that the same was not deliberately used or actually utilized to inflict harm against any person.

While the initial fact-finding process had already been concluded, the administrative investigation is still ongoing to determine the appropriate disciplinary measures to be adopted in conformity with existing school policies and DepED regulations. In addition, the school has immediately implemented additional security schemes within its premises to ensure the safety and well-being of every student and the school community as a whole.

We therefore encourage everyone not to readily rely on unverified information and desist from spreading hate messages, sweeping accusations, and baseless conclusions, so that the interests of the concerned parties (particularly the involved students as well as their families) may be properly protected.
