The Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Lucena City Council APR Delegation paid a courtesy visit to Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala last Monday.

The Mayor expressed his full support for our official delegates and assured assistance for their needs as they prepare for the Asia-Pacific Regional Jamboree in Zambales this December 14–21. He also encouraged everyone to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime Scouting experience and make unforgettable memories. ⚜️✨

BSP Investiture Ceremony
November 14, 2025
Theme: Camp Synergy 2025: Ignite the Leadership, Courage, and Camaraderie.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Mayao Parada Agricultural Integrated High School (MPAIHS) successfully held its Investiture Ceremony on November 14, 2025, anchored on the empowering theme “Camp Synergy 2025: Ignite the Leadership, Courage, and Camaraderie.” The activity marked the formal induction of new Scouts and reaffirmed the Crew’s commitment to molding responsible, service-oriented young leaders.

The ceremony opened with the Processional March of Scouts, led by the Senior Crew Leader and Assistant Senior Crew Leaders, and Crew Leaders followed by a solemn Prayer lead by sctr. Jenica Jane Borsoto the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and the recitation of the Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas lead by sctr. Juliana Rosendal, highlighting unity and patriotism.

A warm welcome remarks from the School Head Mrs. Sherin D. Bustamante emphasized the noble mission of Scouting in developing integrity, discipline, and civic responsibility among young people.

During the Investiture Proper, the Scouts proudly recited the Scout Oath and Scout Law lead by sctr. Prince Jihoo Cantos and sctr. Ian Lorenz De Chavez, signifying their dedication to service, leadership, and good moral character. The meaningful Paglalagay ng alampay served as the official symbol of their entry into the Scouting movement, representing readiness to serve and eagerness to learn.

One of the most significant moments of the ceremony was the Challenges to scouts and parents , delivered by Sir Enrique Cuario. His message challenged both Scouts and parents to work together in nurturing discipline, courage, and compassion—core qualities needed to build synergy within the troop and in the wider community. His inspiring words reinforced the essence of the event’s theme and encouraged everyone to embody the spirit of teamwork and responsible leadership.

The Scouts also rendered the Scout song , filling the venue with unity and pride. Before the program concluded, Scout Benediction lead by sctr. Ian Lorenz De Chavez was offered to guide every Scout as they continue their Scouting journey with purpose and dedication.

The ceremony ended with the exit of colors and the graceful exit of the Scouts, symbolizing the close of a meaningful milestone in their Scouting life.

Overall, the Investiture Ceremony was a resounding success. It truly embodied the spirit of Camp Synergy 2025 as it ignited leadership, courage, and camaraderie among the Scouts—qualities that will empower them to become responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation.

BSP-Lucena City Council Joins Rotary Celebration!

Last October 4, 2025, the BSP-Lucena City Council proudly served as the Color Guard during the Induction of Officers and New Members of the Rotary Club of Lucena Central at Queen Margarette Hotel.

We also extend our warmest congratulations to our Council Board Member and former Field Scout Executive, Mr. Alfredo Delos Reyes, on his induction as the new Heartwarming President of Rotary Club of Lucena Central! 🌟
