We believe it is timely to review existing internship policies and strengthen collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and professional organizations to ensure that learning opportunities are both meaningful and fair.

Let us work together to develop future healthcare professionals while protecting their welfare.

Yet many healthcare interns continue to render long hours without pay and in some cases, shoulder the costs of their own training.

This is not about diminishing the value of clinical education. It is about asking a simple question:

Can we build a system that is both educational and fair?
