Every child deserves the chance to laugh, learn, dream and grow. Around the world, Lions Clubs support children and families affected by childhood cancer through practical assistance, awareness, research and hope.

Region 3 Meet and Greet: Indang Cavite Highlands Joins District 301-A2 Gathering
Lions International District 301-A2 recently brought together leaders and members for the Region 3 Meet and Greet, held on August 1, 2026, at the PZC Gerald Garcia Event's Place, Biclatan, General Trias, Cavite.
Operating under the inspiring theme, "United in Friendship, Bound in Service, Serving With a Grateful Heart" alongside the guiding motto "Together We Serve, Together We Grow," the gathering celebrated community camaraderie and collaborative service.
Representing Indang Cavite Highlands at the event were:

* VP Alvin Pio de Roda
The successful gathering was spearheaded by Region Chairperson Lion Romeo Casauay, 6PMJF (Dasmarinas 100% MJF Lions Club). The program also featured esteemed district leaders and guests, including District Governor Lion Imelda Pechera , 88 PMJF , First Vice District Governor Lion Juliet M. Nacita, PMJF, Second Vice District Governor Lion Cecilia B. Asprec, 53PMJF, and GMT District Coordinator PDG Ma. Jesus W. Antiporda, 6PMJF.
The event highlighted strong regional ties, marker designs for participating cities and towns, and a shared dedication to community development across Cavite.

📢 NOTICE OF VIOLATION | BAWAL ANG PAGSUSUNOG NG BASURA

Mahigpit na pinaaalalahanan ng Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) ang lahat ng mamamayan na mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang pagsusunog ng anumang uri ng solid waste alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000), Republic Act No. 8749 (Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999) at Municipal Ordinance No. 08, Series of 2019 - “Pagbabawal sa Pagsusunog ng Basura sa Bayan ng Indang.”

Ang open burning ng basura ay nagdudulot ng polusyon sa hangin at panganib sa kalusugan ng tao at sa ating kapaligiran. Ang sinumang mapapatunayang lumalabag ay maaaring mapatawan ng kaukulang parusa alinsunod sa umiiral na batas at mga lokal na ordinansa.

₱300.00 – Pagsusunog ng nabubulok (biodegradable) na basura
₱1,000.00 – Pagsusunog ng halo-halong (mixed) na basura

(Para sa mga indigent o walang kakayahang magbayad)
₱300.00 – Animnapu (60) oras na community service
₱1,000.00 – Isang (1) araw na Environmental Seminar at animnapu (60) oras na community service

Ang magulang o legal na tagapag-alaga ang mananagot sa multa at iba pang kaparusahan.

Hindi bibigyan ng Barangay Clearance ang lumabag hangga't hindi nababayaran ang multa sa Municipal Treasurer's Office.

Ang lumabag na hindi makikipag-ugnayan sa MENRO sa loob ng pitong (7) araw ay sasailalim sa kaukulang legal na aksyon.

📌 Hinihikayat ang bawat residente na maging responsable sa tamang pamamahala ng basura at makiisa sa pagpapanatili ng malinis, ligtas at malusog na kapaligiran para sa lahat.
