Bridging Leaders for Sustainable Development Inc. BLSD Inc.- is an organization dedicated for the empowerment and prosperity of all Filipinos & ASEAN. To help mainstream youth agenda.

"We envision in creating a new breed of proactive leaders to steer the community towards sustainability"

The Bridging Leaders for Sustainable Development Inc. (Formerly known as Citizen Power Movement- Northern Mindanao) is committed to the upliftment

of the lives of our young people and the community, it encourages active participation to governance and community empowerment, it further provides a support mechanism for holistic and sustainable leadership development. It inculcates the guiding pillars of MAKA DIYOS, MAKA BAYAN, MAKA TAO, and MAKA KALIKASAN among its members. That the purpose or purposes for which such association is incorporated are:

1. To empower the youth to become future leaders of our society.
2. To explore the vast potential of the youth in governance.
3. To utilize the potent force of the youth sector in advocating against social issues and concerns.
4. To provide an avenue for the youth, to become active partners in nation building.
5. To help instill national consciousness by advocating the principles of PILIPINAS, DIYOS, TAO, KALIKASAN.
6. To help promote a sound and viable youth community policies.
8. To become active and catalyst of a better change. PEACE- Peace as an end and peaceful means to achieve the four principles herein enunciated. This also means freedom from violence and the use of active nonviolence to achieve or approximate the principles of the organization and the laws of the land.

2.JUSTICE-Giving everyone his/her due. This is also presupposes accountability for all, and duty to country for every citizenry.

3.PROGRESS-Not only for individuals but for the community as a whole, this also means provisions for opportunities to better oneself in accordance with our democratic environment but in tandem with the social justice principle.

4.HONOR-National honor and human dignity as the highest principle. This transcends politics, economics or even personal honor. This also means self worth, self respect, integrity and dignity. BLSD Inc. Officers joined and attended the Synergy Conference of Business, Government, Academe & Civil Society to Actionize the Missions of Economic Compass Pillars 5 last April 18, 2026 at the University of the Philippines (UP) Bonifacio Global City Campus, Taguig City.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands through the leadership of Mr. Jose Luis U. Yulo Jr. the President of the Chamber; The oldest and provenance business chamber of the country.

Among the notable guest includes Former DTI Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Former Ombudsman Concita Carpio-Morales and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Rogelio V. Quevedo.

With more than 250 leaders in attendance, the conference aims at igniting the fires of our leaders to pivot the direction of the country regaining its old glory in Asia; An economic powerhouse of trade, investments, talents and innovation.

The Mission and Vision of the Economic Compass Pillars 5 (Ecomp-P5) are as follows:

On our part at the the Bridging Leaders for Sustainable Development (BLSD) Inc. and the Asian Network for Sustainable Development Inc., we were committed since 2017, together with our partnership with the Chamber to propagate the Missions, and we shall continue to do so, by empowering our leaders and our people untill we achieve a status of a First World Philippines by 2050.

BLSD & ANSD 4th Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting for the 6th Philippine International Youth Eco Camp 2026 (Hybrid) this coming April 28-30, 2026 at the World Famous Island; Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines.

The project is to be spearheaded by the Bridging Leaders for Sustainable Development Inc. and Asian Network for Sustainable Development Inc. under the auspices of the Citizen Power Movement, Youth and Students Sector (CPM-YSS) (The BLSD- Youth and Social Outreach Unit) in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (CCPI) with technical assistance from the Asuelo Management Consultancy and Impact Southeast Asia Travel and Tours.

With the theme: “Navigating our Future Together: Youth Leadership for a Sustainable and Prosperous ASEAN”, the event aims to dissect the youth and young people’s role in achieving a sustainable, equitable, resilient, humane and prosperous ASEAN by 2030 and beyond.
