Here, young people from different backgrounds across Indonesia came together to ask that question, challenge assumptions, and learn how peacebuilding begins long before conflict emerges.

Indonesia 2026 was not designed to provide easy answers. It was designed to prepare a generation capable of listening, leading, and responding to the challenges of an increasingly polarized world.

This is only the beginning of the story.

🌏 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗸𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗥. 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮.🇮🇩

For .lavenia peace begins with understanding: ourselves, others, and the world around us. Through Champions for Peace, she gained new perspectives on resilience, empathy, mental well-being, social cohesion, and the power of connecting across differences.

Now, she carries these lessons back into the spaces where she works with young people, using education and community initiatives to create opportunities for youth to listen, learn from differences, and become catalysts for positive change.

Her journey is a reminder that meaningful impact does not always begin with something big. Sometimes, it starts with a small idea, a shared conversation, and people willing to work together. 💙

As we continue celebrating International Youth Month, .lavenia reminds young people that our differences can be bridges, not barriers and together, we have the power to turn understanding into action.

We are proud to see .nocum , Co-Founder & President of , join AVPN 2026 in New Delhi, India, as one of the featured speakers, bringing the stories and lessons of our peacebuilding work, including the Champions For Peace Programme, to a global community of changemakers.

As peacebuilding challenges become increasingly complex, collaboration must become stronger, more inclusive, and more intentional. We believe in bringing together young leaders, communities, civil society, philanthropy, and other sectors to create solutions that are grounded in lived realities and built for lasting impact.

From the Philippines to Southeast Asia and beyond, KRIS continues to champion a future where young people are empowered to lead, communities are connected across differences, and peace is built together. 💙

𝐈𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠. 💙

For Delnalyn Awali, a young peacebuilder and leader from Tawi-Tawi, her journey began with the Champions for Peace programme. That first opportunity opened doors to new spaces, new connections, and new possibilities, including the Bangsamoro Mediators Forum and, most recently, the Applied Peace Network (APN) 2026 cohort.

But Delnalyn’s story is more than the programmes she has joined. It is about what happens when young people are given opportunities to learn, connect, lead, and turn their experiences into action.

As we celebrate International Youth Day this week, Delnalyn shares a heartfelt message with fellow young leaders: keep showing up, keep learning, and keep believing in the difference you can make.

Because youth leadership is not built in a single moment. It grows with every conversation, every connection, every challenge, and every opportunity to step forward.

From Tawi-Tawi to spaces that bring young peacebuilders together, Delnalyn continues to carry her journey forward—and reminds us that sometimes, one opportunity is all it takes to begin something bigger. 🌱

DAY 2 CHAMPIONS FOR PEACE - LEARNING, HEALING, BUILD TOGETHER]

Our 100 young leaders began by unpacking resilience through real stories and the STAR method, before turning inward to explore mental health and Psychological First Aid, we're learning not just how to heal, but how to help others heal too!🤗✨

As the day went on, the focus expanded outward: from the realities of climate change and our collective carbon footprint, to hands-on sessions on collaboration and collective impact🤩

One day, five modules, countless lessons!😮‍💨 All building toward the same goal: peace that starts from within and reaches out to the world🤍
