PART 1: ENTREP PROTOTYPE EXHIBIT โจ
Throwback to March 23, 2026 โ the opening day of the 2nd Entrep Prototype Exhibit: The Startup Lab, where ideas slowly started turning into something real, held at the JWBA ServLab.
The program started strong with Rulston Kenneth Abonales as host, setting the tone and keeping the energy steady throughout. This was followed by the invocation, Pambansang Awit, and USC Hymn led by the tech team โ a simple but grounding start before everything officially unfolded.
Opening remarks were given by PRODIGY Chairman Ej Nicole Perales, welcoming everyone and giving a glimpse of whatโs ahead for the exhibit. The ribbon-cutting ceremony then marked the official opening, together with the PRODIGY adviser and Vice Chairman External โ a small moment, but one that really signaled the beginning of all the hard work finally coming to life.
To give more meaning to the event, Dr. Raymond Mangumpit shared the rationale behind the activity, reminding everyone of its purpose and importance. This was followed by the acknowledgment of exhibitors by Usha Patiga, recognizing the efforts of each participating group.
Then came one of the most awaited parts ๐
The prototype presentations began, starting with the Culinary Track โ featuring Oh Chots, Alliumbakes, TenderBites, Churros Nโ More, Tastier Fries, MaiTea, SideChick, Casita del Birria, and Krudo. Each concept reflected creativity, effort, and the different ideas students brought into the space.
An intermission by Klint Mondijar and Quennie Mariz Orbiso added a fun break and kept the energy alive before transitioning to the Agriculture Track โ showcasing Porky Farms, Chick Oasis, Bitoon Farm, Hydrohaven, Verde. Vista, and La Fresa, each presenting their own take on innovation in agriculture.
To wrap up the program, a โMoving Forwardโ message was led by PRODIGY Head P.I.O John Lyle Rodimo โ leaving everyone with a sense of direction and excitement for whatโs next. The opening then closed with lunch, giving everyone a moment to pause, connect, and take in everything that just happened.
