The Graphic Artist Organization (GAO) supports students, aspiring artists, and existing graphic designers by providing a collaborative space for skill development through workshops, guest lectures, and portfolio reviews, showcasing artwork through exhibitions, contests, and online platforms, connecting members with industry professionals through networking events and mentorship programs, a

nd advocating for the value of graphic design in effective communication. Expand creativity and technological knowledge and services that will develop to enjoy the challenges provided with every creative chance.

The Graphic Artist Organization (GAO) envisions itself as a center of excellence, a haven for individualism, eccentricity, heresy, hobbies, and humor. We strive to foster a collaborative environment that nurtures creativity, innovation, and the pursuit of artistic excellence.

• Enable students to share a wide variety of creativity that allows them to grow and develop confidence in enhancing their skills.
• To make them view challenges as new opportunities to be more creative and innovative.
• Create a community that will allow them to freely share their arts which will enhance their confidence and skills through collaborative activities, art sharing, formal criticisms, and asking questions.
• To develop a friendly community of supportive people sharing knowledge, learning more about the course, and sharing their tips and experiences.

Jia Marie Lapiz, GAO’s Press Relations Director, secured 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 during Pangandoy 3.0: CebuTech Leadership Summit 2026.

In her extemporaneous speech, she shared, “𝑰𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔, 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚—𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝑰 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒎.”
