๐“๐‡๐„ ๐†๐ƒ ๐‰๐Ž๐”๐‘๐๐€๐‹ | Becoming

Maybe change is like the seasons.
You don't really notice it happening
until you look around,
and everything you knew
is starting to feel different.

The leaves fall.
The sky gets colder.
And somehow,
you learn to live
without asking
where everything went.

Maybe that's what growing isโ€”
losing little pieces of yourself
and realizing
you were never meant
to keep them forever.

I've always wondered
what still water is hiding,
because from the surface,
it looks like nothing is happening.
But underneath,
something is always moving.

Maybe I'm like that, too.
Quiet on the outside,
while somewhere deep in me,
I'm becoming someone else.

Like a cocoon,
I don't know what I'll look like
when I finally come out.
I just know
I can't stay here forever.

And maybe that's the hardest part
about changingโ€”
you have to let go
of the person you were
before you can find out
who you're becoming.

CTU-MC College of Technology wins Arko sa Panagtagbo 2026

Cebu Technological University โ€“ Main Campus (CTU-MC)โ€™ College of Technology emerged as the overall winner of the Arko sa Panagtagbo competition during PANAGTAGBO 2026: The CebuTech Week of Welcome, earning the competitionโ€™s top distinction along with four special awards during the closing ceremony on August 20.

The competition was one of the official highlight competitions of PANAGTAGBO 2026, featuring the six colleges of CTU-Main Campus in a showcase of creativity, college identity, heritage, and unity. Under the competition guidelines, participating colleges were required to create an arch that clearly displayed their official college name or acronym, reflected their academic identity, culture, values, and achievements, and incorporated Filipino-inspired elements aligned with the eventโ€™s theme.

The decorated arches were presented during the Panag-abot sa Panagtagbo Parade on the opening day of the four-day celebration, with each participating college presenting a ceremonial arch that served as its official college marker throughout the parade.

The College of Technologyโ€™s winning entry was developed through the collaborative efforts of its student organizations, including the Graphic Artist Organization (GAO), Designers Society Nurturing the Youthful Opportunities (DSNYO), Association of Civil Technology Students (ACTS), Junior Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines โ€“ Cebu Students Chapter (JMRSP-CSC), and FITTS.

In addition to securing the overall title, the College of Technology received four special recognitions: Best in Creativity, Best in Theme Interpretation, Best in College Identity, and Best in Craftsmanship.

PANAGTAGBO 2026: The CebuTech Week of Welcome was held from August 17 to 20 at the CTU-Main Campus, featuring various activities and competitions that welcomed students to the new academic year while celebrating creativity, college identity, unity, and the shared CebuTech community.
