Happy Birthday to our Princess, Josef! This past month hasn’t exactly been the lightest for you. Between our off-campus internships, everyday responsibilities, and the preparations for UN Month, there has been a lot on your plate. And while you may not be doing everything yourself, we appreciate the time, effort, and presence you’ve given to help things move along.

And because today is also Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating one of our future educators, too! May all the experiences, challenges, and even the stressful days you’re going through now become part of the teacher and person you’re becoming.

But enough with the serious stuff. To my celebration peeps, once this internship and UN Month madness are finally over, we already know what needs to happen. 🍻

Sa paggunita ng Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani, ating tinitingala at inaalala ang mga Pilipinong nag-iwan ng marka sa kasaysayan sa pamamagitan ng kanilang tapang, paninindigan, at paglilingkod sa bayan. Ngunit ang pag-alala sa kanila ay hindi dapat nagtatapos sa pagbanggit ng kanilang mga pangalan at kuwento. Ang kanilang mga ipinaglaban ay may saysay sa kasalukuyan, sa paraan ng ating pakikitungo sa kapwa, paggamit ng ating kalayaan, at pagtindig para sa kung ano ang tama. Sapagkat ang tunay na pag-alala sa mga bayani ay hindi lamang paglingon sa kanilang mga ginawa, kundi pagtatanong sa ating sarili kung ano ang kaya nating gawin para sa bayan sa panahong tayo naman ang may pagkakataon.

Saludo sa mga bayaning nagbigay ng kanilang buhay para sa bayan, at sa bawat Pilipinong patuloy na nagsisilbi para rito.
