"Disaster Preparedness Program"

The Disaster Preparedness Program was conducted in Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa City to enhance the community’s awareness, knowledge, and skills in disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness, and response. The project aimed to educate residents on disaster hazards, emergency planning, evacuation procedures, basic first aid, and the importance of household preparedness to minimize the impact of disasters.

The program directly benefited approximately 50 community youth. Indirectly, the project is expected to benefit their families and the wider community.

Anchored on this year's theme, "𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴 𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀," this initiative aims to strengthen disaster preparedness, promote resilience, and empower every youth with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively before, during, and after emergencies.
