This ๐๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ฒ ๐€๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ง๐จ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ, the CAMS Local Council joins the nation in remembering a legacy rooted in courage, conviction, and love for the Filipino people.

May this day remind us, as student leaders and future healthcare professionals, that service begins with choosing to care, to stand for what matters, and to work for something greater than ourselves.

Our school should be a place of learning, growth, and safetyโ€”a community where every student feels respected, valued, and heard. Bullying and violence, whether through hurtful words, harmful actions, or online attacks, can leave scars that are not always visible.

Before you speak or act, ask yourself: Will this hurt someone? Will this make them feel small? What may seem like a joke to one person can become pain to another.

Choose kindness over cruelty. Choose understanding over judgment. Instead of tearing others down, help lift them up. Respect differences, practice empathy, and remember that true strength is shown not by overpowering others, but by protecting and supporting them.
Let us build a campus where everyone feels safe, accepted, and empowered.

The College of Allied Medical Sciences (CAMS) Local Council successfully conducted its College Convocation for the Department of Medical Technology on July 29, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the WUP Ecumenical Chapel. The convocation brought together students, faculty, and administrators for an afternoon of worship, and fellowship as the college officially commenced the academic year.

The convocation opened with the Entrance of the Altar Symbols, where Ma'am Kristel Joy Elvambuena served as the Bible Bearer, while members of the CAMS Local Council fulfilled the roles of acolytes and offertory ushers.

The liturgy featured prayers, responsive readings, songs of praise, scripture readings, and a sermon led by Rev. Freddie Cardenas and Rev. Roberto Pascual. Through their messages, the chaplains encouraged the Medical Technology community to entrust the new academic year to God, seek wisdom in their studies, and remain resolute throughout their academic journey.

The Scripture Readings were delivered by CAMS Officers Brycen De Guzman and Dheynielyn Janelle Santos, proclaiming passages from the Old and New Testaments

During the Offertory, CAMS Governor Erielle Tiburio and Vice Governor Lara Eunique Viernes delivered a heartfelt offertory song; Lilim, as the congregation prepared the gifts and collection to be brought to the altar. The CAMS faculty led the offertory procession, accompanied by the food offertory presented by Norbie Lyn Antonio and Acel Agatha Ordoรฑez as symbols of gratitude and thanksgiving.

The service concluded with a closing prayer, benediction, and recessional. Following the convocation, students, faculty members, and officers gathered for a photo-taking session.
