The USG House of Representatives formally convened its Fifth Regular Session on February 18, 2026, at 7:20 PM, presided over by Hon. Deputy Speaker Mark Jefferson Antonio, with 32 duly recognized representatives present, ensuring quorum.

The Deputy Speaker moved to reconsider the approval of House Resolution No. 7 and to amend the same, which was duly seconded by the author. Upon being put to a vote, the House approved the reconsideration and amendment, directing the Committee on Accountability and Transparency and Constitutional Amendments, Revision of Codes and Laws to translate the USG Constitution into Filipino.

With the power vested by the University Student Government President, key bills strengthening and amplifying student government rules were formally signed into law on February 6, 2026.

These enacted measures reaffirm the USG’s commitment to responsive, accountable, and student-centered governance, always in all ways, for every NEUSTians.

Upon approval, these Senate-crafted policies shall be implemented immediately and shall be known as the University Student Government Acts (UA), series of the academic year in which they were introduced.
