7.04.2026 "FAITH Gardening Master Farmers Training" Graduation

United Nations Development Programme - UNDP Funded FAITH (Food,Always,In,The,Home) Gardening Master Framers completed their 1 week training on Friday the 17th of April at The Tutu Beach Retreat. A special graduation ceremony was held to celebrate this event as it was also a first of its kind training for Ginigoada Foundation Inc. Official to facilitate.

These Master Farmers were from Motu-Koitabu particularly from the Taurama and Pari villages. The Master Farmers were trained on a different gardening method, they cleared a bush plot and dug garden beds, built a green house and made nurseries for their different vegetables which they will later transplant onto the garden beds.
Ginigoada was able to provide each Master Farmers with Extra seeds and garden tools through the help of UNDP so they can also go back to their homes, communities and villages and be able to teach others especially the younger generations this important sustainable skill.

FAITH Gardening will not only provide each family with nutritious food in the home but can also be a important source of income if one is able to plant and grow more.
Congratulations to the 19 Master Farmers, we hope to see change πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ‘

Forty (40) young participants from Vabukori Community have successfully graduated after completing four weeks of Hospitality and Tourism Training, encompassing both theory and practical skills, delivered at Lohia Rahe Resources Centre.

Your partnership has empowered our youth, given them a second chance, and strengthened our community. We also sincerely acknowledge the presence of Dame Carol Kidu, CEO Marina Yes, of Ginigoada Foundation, NCDC for financial support, and the dedicated facilitors who generously shared their knowledge and guided our young participants throughout this journey.
