An acknowledgement to PwC Papua New Guinea to have chosen us to be one of their Corporate Challenge 2026 Beneficiaries πŸ‘πŸ‘

On Sunday 16th August 2026, three of our staff set up an information booth as a Beneficiary at this flagship event. We were even fortunate enough to be interviewed live on air on FM100 Papua New Guinea Breakfast Show!

Once again thank you to PwC and everyone that made this event possible as being a Beneficiary of this Challenge, it helps fund alternative education pathways through skill-based training for those that dropped out of the formal education system or those that missed out on education all together. By offering skill-based training marginalised members of our communities with no certificates get a second chance in education and skills training to support their livelihoods by finding employment and be self-reliant. πŸ’―

πŸ’œ GRADUATION DAY πŸ’œ

Today we witnessed one of our biggest graduating batches of this year with 63 FEMALE participants. The 60+ participants went through our Mobile Bus Life Skills Training and then moved on to 6 weeks of Basic TVET training in Carpentry, Electrical, Mechanical and Welding at Lions Vocational Centre, Morata.

This training program of including females in a once male dominated trade course/ field is an initiative funded by ExxonMobil PNG through the Ginigoada Foundation Inc. and was rolled out with our partner institution the Lions Vocational Centre at Morata for the last 6 weeks.

We had the privilege of having a few distinguished guests be a part of this graduation event: The Patron and Founder of Ginigoada Foundation Dame Carol Kidu as our 'Key Note Speaker', ExxonMobil PNG representative the Planning and Contribution Manager Ms. Belinda Gurra, Department of Education Assistant Secretary for TVET Inspection Mrs Oli Mark, Marina van der Vlies the Acting Foundation Manager for Ginigoada Foundation, and the school principal Mr Hillary Damke.

Congratulations to all that graduated today, may this Journey not end here but take you all further in life, whether it be finding employment, creating a small business with the skills learned or pursuing further Education. We wish you all the very bestπŸ₯³πŸ₯³ πŸ™

A big shoutout and Thanks to LiteHaus International for donating 15 Computers and Desktops to us through Nuinet PNG which made this Computing training possible and it was definitely a successπŸ‘Œ
All 19 young people that went through the Computing training have never even touched a computer before nor did they know how to use and operate one,and after two weeks of training they are all can now set a computer, use a computer even type using Office Word and they even got to create and set up their own Gmail accounts. What a milestone for these lot πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ‘πŸ‘

Even the 12 Ladies that attended the Sewing Training barely knew how to sew. They were taught the Electric Sewing Machine Parts and functions and how to operate it and sewing basic straight and curved stitches on the first week by sewing small drawstring bags and then advanced on to Sewing REUSABLE SANITARY PADS with INCONTINENCE PADS on the second week. Complimentary items of two Panties, wash cloth, a bar of soap and care/usage cards was given to them to put into their string bags and take with them.

We also had the privilege of having the NBC TV - PNG cover our graduation program today. They had the opportunity of interviewing the participants on their experiences before and after the training as well as our Foundation Manager. We will share the link on our page once the story has been published.

Oh and not forgetting our major Sponsor NCDC, Thank you for your continuous support in making such trainings and programs accessible for everyone.

29.07.2026" A joyful day for our VWDA family ⚘️πŸ₯¬

A big, big congratulations to our Gardening Team - Group Diraha on your first harvest of pak choy yesterday. It feels like just last week we were planting seeds together, and now, almost one month later, we're already sharing the first harvest amongst ourselves. How good is that?

" We don't grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges together"

This is what happens when women come together with faith and hard work. Remember those garden slots we built during the Faith Gardening Training with Ginigoada Foundation Inc. Official family in June? Look at them now , full of life and full of hope. Our first batch was shared amongst our members. The next batch? It'll be for sale, so keeping supporting each other. To every mama in Diraha Group, thank you for showing us what love, patience, and teamwork can grow.

Keep an eye here for when our fresh pak choy is ready to buy. πŸ₯¬.To God be the Glory ⚘️
