The Evangelical Brotherhood Church (EBC) of Papua New Guinea (EBC PNG) has officially kicked off a one-week Basic Computing Training at its Western Regional Office in Timil Waghi, Jiwaka Province 💻

A total of 26 pastors and church elders are taking part in this training, learning essential computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and basic Windows operations—tools that will support their ministry and administrative work.

Pastor Ernest Kumai from EBC Mondo Mil Circuit shared his appreciation for the opportunity:

“This training would normally cost thousands of kina, but through God’s timing, we are able to attend.”

Describing himself as once computer illiterate, Pastor Kumai said he feels privileged to be part of the training and is hopeful to learn more in the days ahead.

This initiative marks an important step in empowering church leaders with practical skills for today’s digital world 🌍

✨ Thank you and farewell! 👋

Today, MAF Technologies proudly thanks and honours Mathias and Mandy Glass for 19 years of faithful service with MAF in Papua New Guinea as they prepare to return to Germany, marking the close of an extraordinary chapter of dedication and impact.

Mathias and Mandy have dedicated their lives to serving remote communities with deep love, humility, and commitment 🇵🇬❤️.

Mathias, a highly skilled pilot with over 8,000 flying hours and 13,000 landings, has flown the Twin Otter, Airvan GA8, and Cessna Caravan 208. He has safely transported passengers, carried out life-saving medivacs, and brought hope to some of the most isolated places. In both cockpit and operations, he has served with excellence and humility.

Mandy, our pioneering Senior Communications Officer, helped build and shape MAF PNG’s communications team from the ground up. She has faithfully shared powerful stories of God’s work through MAF, giving voice to remote communities and highlighting aviation ministry across the country.

PNG has been a significant part of their journey and marriage. Mathias and Mandy met in Germany, became engaged here in PNG, and together formed a strong team rooted in faith, friendship, and service.

Over the years, they have served across multiple MAF bases, leaving a lasting legacy wherever they went.

As they return to Germany, we say goodbye with full hearts. They will be deeply missed for their kindness, laughter, wisdom, and faithful presence. Their impact on this nation and on all of us will not be forgotten 🛩️.

Mathias and Mandy, thank you for 19 years of faithful service. May God bless you richly in your next chapter.

Thousands of King bilong Glori books are reaching remote communities across Papua New Guinea through MAF’s Bible Box ministry. ✈️📚🌏

Partnering with MAF Technologies and ROCK International, pilots are delivering these Bible overview books—alongside Bibles and other resources—to some of the most isolated airstrips in the country.

Over the past three years, around 60,000 books have been distributed across at least 21 provinces, helping both young and old grow in their understanding of God’s Word. With more arriving in 2025, the outreach continues.

Through every flight, hope is taking wing. ✈️📖

“I still believe in HF radio… many suppose it to be outdated, but it saves many lives,” says Justina Martin, MAF Technologies radio operator. From medical emergencies to isolated communities, HF radios remain a vital lifeline across Papua New Guinea.

2,000 Bibles. One Powerful Mission. One Hopeful Generation.

“If we remain in God’s presence and follow His Word, we will see change.”

That was the powerful reminder shared by Greg Kanambi, a young attendee at the National Youth Conference in Goroka, where more than 2,000 youths received bilingual English & Tok Pisin Bibles donated by MAF Technologies.

Under the theme “Empowered by the Presence of God,” young people from across Papua New Guinea returned home strengthened, encouraged, and equipped with God’s Word in their hands.

Through partnerships with churches, MAF Technologies continues to serve as a bridge — connecting people, strengthening faith, and supporting the next generation of leaders in PNG.

Eleven church and youth leaders from Buka Island, Bougainville, completed a two-week MAF Technologies basic computer training course, gaining essential digital skills. The training strengthened confidence in computer use, presentations, and modern tools to support effective church leadership and gospel outreach.
