Papua New Guinea: 49 Years of Independence โ€“ Where Are We Headed?

As we celebrate 49 years of independence, it's time for deep reflection. Despite decades of foreign aid, our nation is still struggling to stand on its own. Weโ€™ve become overly reliant on donor grants, many of which are tied to specific, short-term projects. These grants often overlook crucial overheads and operational needs, making it challenging for implementing agencies to deliver long-term, sustainable outcomes.

It's time for Papua New Guinea to define its path forwardโ€”one of true independence and self-reliance. We need a national vision that prioritizes long-term growth and fosters the potential within our own people. So much of boomarang aids and expertriate workforce. Inap Nau Campaign!!!
and ptential to drive our economy

๐Ÿšจ ATTENTION EASTERN HIGHLANDS COMMUNITY ๐Ÿšจ

๐Ÿ‘ฆ LOST CHILD ALERT & CALL FOR ASSISTANCE

On 25th January 2024, a young boy, approximately 7-8 years of age (see picture attached), was found by a kind-hearted couple in front of the Greenland Shopping Center at around 3 PM. This sweet child has since been cared for by the look-out family, who have provided him with warmth and safety.
The look-out family is trying to unite this child back with his immediate family.

After their visit to our office here at Eastern Highlands Family Voice Inc. on 29th January, it has come to our attention that this child may be facing challenges in communication which are indicative of a possible disorder.

We are now urgently calling upon our community to extend a hand of support. Hereโ€™s how you can help:

๐Ÿ” If you have any information about the child's identity, or his family, please contact us immediately or the numbers attached.

๐Ÿค Any local organizations or individuals interested in contributing to the search for the childโ€™s family or providing for his immediate needs are encouraged to contact the Eastern Highlands Family Voice Inc. or contact the numbers given in the pictures

Together, we can ensure that this young boy experiences the compassion and care that our community is known for and is reunited with his family. Please share this post far and wide - someone out there knows something that can help.

For information or to offer assistance, please reach out to us:
