This week, Early Childhood educators across Fiordland joined Nurturing relationships - Andrea Greer for two engaging professional learning sessions focused on supporting tamariki to thrive.

🧠 In Practical Strategies to Support our Neurodiverse Tamariki, participants explored neuro-affirming approaches and gained practical tools to create inclusive learning environments that support focus, emotional regulation and success for neurodivergent learners.

💚 In Big Bursting Behaviours, educators learned about the different states of the nervous system, co-regulation, and playful strategies to help tamariki build emotional regulation skills and navigate big emotions.

Andrea also offers a workshop on Understanding Childhood Trauma's Impact on Behaviour, helping educators understand how trauma can influence behaviour, relationships and learning outcomes.

The response from participants was overwhelmingly positive! 😊

📍 Rural Southland & Whakatipu — could your community be next?

If there is interest, Southern REAP can work with schools, early childhood centres and education providers to bring Andrea's workshops to your area. Get in touch!
